Chapter 25 Battle for Etheria (part 3)

She-ra and Swift Wind catched He-man from falling.
Horde Prime fired again and the explosion caused both warriors to fell down Swift Wind's back.
"Adam, are you dead?" She-ra asked to her brother.
They were lying on the ground next to each other.
"No. I'm not giving up before you" He-man answered, making She-ra laugh a little.
He used his sword to stand up.
"Come on. This is just the second round" He held out his hand and helped She-ra to stand up.
Horde Prime landed not so far from them.
"Tired already? You two are such a disappointement. The ones who came before you must be crying in their graves" He mocked them.
He-man grabbed a machine that was next to him and threw it at Horde Prime.
He flew to avoid it. He-man continued to throw things at him and Prime destroyed them with the cannon.
That gave to She-ra the time to jump on Swift Wind's back.
Horde Prime was so distracted that he didn't see them flying above him.
She-ra jumped off the horse. She successfuly stabbed Horde Prime in the back with her sword.
As they were slowly falling down, She-ra grabbed the cannon arm and remove it. He-man jumped towards Horde Prime and stabbed him too, destroying his Fire Stone fragment.
He-man and She-ra combined their powers and made the robot explode.
Horde Prime was gone, body and soul.
He-man and She-ra had short breath after that incredible fight.
He-man looked at his sister and nodded, to confirm their victory. She-ra started to cry and hugged her brother.

Catra and Claws were helping Glimmer to search under the rumbles of the hangar.
"He's here!" Catra exclaimed when she found Bow. He was in terrible conditions but still alive.
Glimmer teleported him, Catra and Claws where She-ra and He-man were.
Bow managed to say something to She-ra with a faint voice.
"You're welcome. . ." .
"Bow, I can save you! It's going to work if we use both our swords" She looked at her brother.
The twins pointed their sword at Bow's chest. His internal and external wounds healed fast and all the pain was gone.
"I'm-I'm okay?" Bow asked unsure.
"Yes, Bow" He-man smiled.
"But you turned pink!" She-ra exclaimed.
"What!?" Bow looked at his normal hands. She-ra laughed and everyone but Glimmer looked at her with annoyed expressions.
They were safe from Horde Prime, but there was still the bomb.

Hordak was fumbling with it; not even the explosions caused by the fight stopped him.
He managed to deactivate the bomb and took a breath of relief. He was about to leave the room when everything started to shake.
"What now!?" Catra held to Claws.
"It's the bomb!" She-ra looked in the direction of the throne's room.
The countdown was still going and there was no way to stop it.
Glimmer teleported her friends where the rest of the Great Rebellion was, leaving Hordak in the Fright Zone.
He ran in Entrapta's laboratory and found the portal machine he asked her to keep building.
Hordak quickly activated it. Before the countdown arrived at zero, the portal made the entire Fright Zone desappear.
The rebells saw a red light deviding the sky and there was a brief moment of silence.
"What happened?" Perfuma asked to the others.
"We did it. Horde Prime is really gone this time" He-man answered.
"And Hordak?" Scorpia looked at She-ra.
". . .I think he's gone as well" She said with a blanc expression.
After nineteen years, they've finally won the war against the Horde. The rebells started to celebrate their victory.
While her friends were cheering, laughing and dancing, She-ra looked at the crater where the Fright Zone was.
"Adora?" Glimmer felt sorry for her.
She-ra smiled.
"We won, Glimmer" .
"Yes, we did" The princess leaned her head on her arm.
The Great Rebellion was standing together, looking in front of them like they were looking at their future.

After a few days, it was time for the Grayskull twins and their friends to go back to Eternia.
The spaceship was ready to fly and Duncan was leading Spirit inside it.
Scorpia had a talk with Catra apart.
"You and Claws should come with me to the Scorpion Kingdom. I could use a cat body guard" Scorpia teased her friend.
"Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I need to spend more time by myself" Catra said.
"I understand. Just rember that you'll always be welcome in my kingdom" Scorpia openned her arms to hug her.
Catra got so excited that she jumped in her arms. Claws did the same and they fell down.
"Goodbye, Adam. I wish we've met in another occasion" Frosta was so sad for his departure.
"I'm glad we met anyway" Adam wanted to shake her hand, but Frosta hugged him instead.
"Alright, that's enough. Let's go" Teela grabbed the collar of Adam's jacket and dragged him away from Frosta.
Adora saluted all her friends.
"Be good while I'm not here, okay?" She said to Sea Hawk.
"Please, never change" he replied and they shook hands.
"When you'll be back, we'll have a rematch" Lohni said with confidence.
"Sure. We'll see how good you'll get with your sword" Adora punched her on the arm.
"Take care of Bow" She recommended to Romeo.
"I will" .
"Make sure he doesn't blow up the castle" Adora said to Bow.
"I'll try" He laughed.
"Hey!" Romeo nudged him.
Adora didn't forget to thank Angella and wished her and Micah the peace they deserved.
At last, Adora went to talk with Glimmer. The princess tried her best to not look hearthbroken.
"Three months aren't a long time. They'll pass in the blink of an eye. . .Unless they last longer on your planet" Glimmer said.
She wasn't expecting Adora to take her hand.
"Glimmer, come with me" .
"What?" .
"I want you to meet my parents. I want to explore Eternia with you. You were there for me when my new life began, and I want you to be by my side for the rest of it" Adora's cheeks were showing a soft pink.
Glimmer wanted to go with Adora and be with her, but what about her responsabilities?
She looked at her friends.
"Do you even need to think about it?" Frosta was excited for her.
"We'll take care of everything. When you'll return, you'll see a new Etheria" Bow assured.
"For years you put everybody's needs before yours. It's time for you to start living your life the way you want" Angella said, holding Micah's hand.
Glimmer went to hug her parents, then she took off her tiara.
"Mermista, hold this while I'm not here" Glimmer tossed it to her.
"Yeah, sure. 'Hold' " Mermista wore the tiara.
Glimmer returned to Adora and took her hand. The two girls went on the spaceship together. After the tailgate closed, the ship lifted into the air.
Adora and Glimmer looked out the window in the controls room. As they were flying higher, they saw Madame Razz flying on Broom.
"Bye, Adora! Come back for a cup of tea!" .
A yellow light was shining from the Crystal Castle: that was Light Hope's way to say bye.
Adora spotted Kowl flying not so far from the ship.
"See you hoot-son, kid" .
Adora softly held Glimmer's face in her hands and they shared a kiss, just like she dreamed of.
The spaceship left the atmosphere of Etheria and became a small point in the sky.
