Chapter 17 Catra On The Loose (part 1)

Shadow Weaver was locked in the prisons under Bright Moon's castle.
Castaspella put a spell on her cell that prevented her from using her powers, so she couldn't escape with her magic.
"How does it feel to be powerless and scared?" Adora asked to Shadow Weaver from the otherside of the bars "That's how you've made me and my friends feel for years. Now you can have a taste of your own pie" .
Shadow Weaver looked at her in silent anger and Adora corresponded the glare.
Angella, Bow and Glimmer were there as well.
"We should take her away from Shadow Weaver" Bow said to Glimmer.
"Come, Adora. You don't have to stay here after what happened" the princess took her hand and Adora's anger quickly subsided.
The two girls and Bow left the prisons.
"I hope you know you'll stay in this cell for the rest of your life" Angella said to Shadow Weaver.
"Don't be so sure about it, Angie" The woman grinned.

Adora, Glimmer and Bow were outside the castle, to take some fresh hair.
Her friends noticed that Adora was worried, so they tried to reassure her.
"There's no need to be afraid. Shadow Weaver won't torment you ever again" Glimmer said.
But Adora wasn't worried about Shadow Weaver. She was thinking about what happened at Mystacor. If her friends didn't save her, she would have died before she told them about her origins and before meeting her family.
In that moment Adora took an important decision.
"I have to tell you something" She led Glimmer and Bow to the bench next to the fountain.
"Stay here" Adora made them sit and stepped back.
"What's going on?" Bow asked.
"Just watch, please" Adora had a serious face. She grabbed her neckless and transformed it into the sword.
Glimmer and Bow recognized it and began to put the pieces together.
"Adora, you are. . .?" The princess mumbled.
"For the honor of Grayskul!" Adora transformed in front of them "I am She-ra" She said with a little shame.
Glimmer was staring at her in disbelief. Bow closed his eyes and took a deep breath to rationalize what they just saw.
"Who else knows about this?" He asked.
"Just a few people" She-ra listed everyone who knew her secret "Spirit, Kowl," .
"So two animals" Bow said.
"Madame Razz and Broom," .
"Who?" .
"Light Hope" .
"The divinity!?" Bow exclaimed.
"And the Sorceress. . . Okay, that's a lot of people. But you're the first ones in the Great Rebellion to learn my secret!" She-ra claimed.
Glimmer was still processing that information in silence.
"So your flying horse is Spirit?" Bow asked.
"Yes. He transforms everytime I do this" She-ra pointed her sword at the fountain. She accidentally fired at one of the swans and this flew away.
"THAT'S THE SECOND TIME IT HAPPENS!" .
Glimmer got up from the bench and started to walk away from them.
"Glimmer?" Bow called her.
"Glimmer, wait" She-ra wanted to follow her, but Glimmer teleported away. She-ra was regretting not telling sooner her secret to her friends.

Catra and Scorpia were in Shadow Weaver's room. The soldiers were taking away all her stuff, because Hordak ordered so.
After what she did, Shadow Weaver was no longer part of the Horde.
Catra didn't recive any punishment, but it was only a matter of time before Shadow Weaver's absence affected her position.
"It's going to be okay" Catra said with a fake smile "We'll be alright even without Shadow Weaver" .
"Catra, don't you get it? It's over. Hordak is not going to continue this war as long as Adora is with the rebells. . .Which means. . ." Scorpia made an excited expression "We're almost free! Soon the Great Rebellion is going to win, and the Horde will cease to exist forever. Then I'll go back to my kindom, close the mines and free all the slaves" .
Catra had an horrifyed look on her face, but her friend didn't see that.
"This nightmare is almost over, Catra!. . . Catra?" Scorpia looked at her, but her friend wasn't there anymore.
Catra was in the empthy dormitory. She was walking back and front, trying to stay calm.
"It's okay. Everything is going to be okay" She kept repeating "Romeo and Lohni aren't here anymore, Shadow Weaver used me all along, and soon Scorpia will go back to her kingdom" she rummaged in her hair and found the picture of her and Scorpia that she took before their first mission.
"I'm losing everything" Catra was close to cry.
A thought crept in her head. There was only one way to keep Scorpia in the Fright Zone, and she was ready to do anything to not lose the only friend she had left.
Catra took off her comunicator watch and started her plan.

Glimmer had retired in her room after Adora revealed to be She-ra.
They haven't talked about her origins, but that wasn't the right moment to do it.
Adora knocked on her door.
"Glimmer? I'm really sorry. I should have told you everything, but there was so much I had to discover first. When we fought that monster plant at Plumeria, I couldn't transform and I got scared. I thought 'what if I can't be She-ra again? How am I going to protect my friends just as Adora?' " .
Glimmer was listening to what Adora was telling her from behind the door.
"Everyday that passed, I got more afraid of telling my secret. I started to think I was a source of problems for everyone. You guys mean the world to me, and I could never forgive myself if something happened to you" Adora leaned her forehead on the door.
Glimmer was about to open it, but a hand covered her mouth and somebody dragged her back.
"Glimmer, please. Even if you don't forgive me, say something. . . Glimmer?" Adora heard noises coming from inside the room. She busted open the door and found it empty.
Some objects were on the floor and the window was open, but there was no sign of Glimmer.
Adora went to look for Bow, to tell him that she was gone.
She found him at the entrance of the castle, with many guards gathered there as well.
"What's going on?" Adora asked.
The guards were pointing their weapons at the person that was keeping her claws raised, to show she wasn't a threat.
"Scorpia!? What are you doing here?" Adora gasped.
"I need your help. I think Catra wants to do something stupid. . . Again" Scorpia said.

Catra was walking away from Bright Moon.
"Don't slow down" She pushed Glimmer to make her walk.
Catra kidnapped her and put her the handcuffs made of the metal that weaken magical powers.
"Why are you doing this?" Glimmer questioned.
"Less talking, more walking!" Catra pushed her again.
"Where are we going?" .
"What do you think? I'm taking you to the Fright Zone" Catra wanted to bring the princess to Hordak as her prisoner "Your mom will do anything to have you back. Bright Moon will surrender to the Horde and we'll be back on track" .
"That will never happen" Glimmer affirmed.
"Oh, it will. Or else you're friends and family are never going to see your pretty face ever again" Catra passed one of her claws on Glimmer's face, leaving a white mark on her skin.
Glimmer was scared. She had never seen Catra like that.
