Mermista swimmed upriver to Bright Moon to tell something important to Adora, Bow and Glimmer.
"My mermaids informed me of pirates who assault the ships of the Great Rebellion" Mermista was immersed in the river water "Their vessel was seen set course to the Fright Zone" .
"What do you think, Adora?" Glimmer looked at her.
"I remember the Horde had someone supplying us and passing informations about the Great Rebellion plans" Adora said.
"So they are thieves AND spies? We have to stop those pirates" Bow affirmed.
"Do you want me to take care of them?" Mermista asked with a threatening expression.
"No!" Glimmer exclaimed "Thank you, Mermista. We'll do it our way" .

Glimmer, Adora and Bow sailed with their boat along the route used by the ships of the Great Rebellion.
Kowl was flying around the boat.
Adora jumped off the lookout and used a rope of the mainmast to land on the deck.
"Yo-hoy! First official Adora ready for orders, captain" She was wearing pirate clothes, and her red bandana was tied around her head.
Glimmer was also wearing pirate clothes, but she was more elegant and had a flashy hat with a big feather.
"Hoist those sails and prepare the cannons, sailor!" Glimmer was pretending to be the captain.
"We have cannons?" Adora asked excited.
"No, Adora" Glimmer said.
Adora made a disappointed face, then she looked at Glimmer and the two started to laugh.
"Is this really necessary?" Bow questioned. He had an eyepatch on the forehead because he needed both eyes to steer the ship.
"We want the pirates to believe we're regular sailors. So when they'll approach us, we'll reveal ourselves and defeat them" Glimmer said.
"We don't even know how many of them there are! What if they outnumber us?" Bow argued.
"Wear this properly and you'll see less pirates" Adora pulled his eyepatch and made it snap on his forehead.
"Why am I the only one taking this seriously? You're playing pirates and I'm worried about our mission" Bow complained.
Adora heard Kowl screaming from the lookout.
"Hoot-they're coming!" He pointed at a vessel that was getting closer.
"They found us!" Adora allerted her friends.
Bow immediately grabbed his weapon.
A man was standing on the fore part of the vessel.
"Greetings, my friends! I am Sea Hawk, captain of the Solar Sailor" The red haired pirate introduced himself.
"A polite pirate" Bow sussured.
"I like his confidence" Adora said.
"Hello, Sea Hawk! Sorry but we don't have anything for you and your crew" Glimmer told him.
"Crew? No, no, dear. There's only me and my loyal friend, Swen" Sea Hawk pointed with his head at the chubby man.
"There's only two of you?" Bow asked, lowering his bow "That's great! And I thought we were going to battle with big crew" He was overconfident about their victory, but he didn't know how wrong he was.
"Swen!" Sea Hawk called his second in command and he pressed a button on the rudder. From the sides of the Solar Sailor, two large bird wings openned. They were made of a metal that reflected the sunlight.
Thanks to those wings, the vessel began to float and it flew above the rebells' ship.
"What!?" Bow was in disbelief.
"The rules of the oceans don't apply to my ship!" Sea Hawk laughed.
Cannons came out from the hatches under the Solar Sailor and fired, causing terrible damages to the boat below.
Bow tried to steer the ship away from the trajectory of the cannons.
"They want to leave with that colander? I don't think so" Sea Hawk smirked.
Another cannon fired, only this time the white ball didn't violenty hit the ship but just landed on the deck.
Glimmer and Adora were surprised nothing happened.
The cannon ball exploted in a cloud of purple gas and the two girls fell asleep, with Bow following them right after.

Adora woke up because Glimmer was calling her.
"What. . .What happened? Where are we?" She asked, groggy for the gas.
The three friends were tied together inside a caboose, surrounded by all the things stolen from the Great Rebellion.
"We're on Sea Hawk' ship" Bow said, livid.
"I knew we needed cannons!" Adora grumped.
The manhole of the caboose openned and Sea Hawk went down to talk with his prisoners.
"Everybody awake? Good" .
"Why did you kidnapp us!?" Adora growled.
"Because I know who you are. Glimmer, princess of Bright Moon and leader of the Great Rebellion; Bow, the best archer on Etheria and Adora, the Horde Force Captain who defected to join her enemies" Sea Hawk answered.
"At least we don't have to introduce ourselves" Bow mumbled.
"You three are worth more than all the things I've stolen. Especially you, my precious princess" Sea Hawk said, gently holding Glimmer's face.
"Hands off!" Adora unsuccefuly tried to free herself from the ropes.
"Don't bother yourself. My father taught me how to make a good sailor knot when I was five" Sea Hawk told them that once they arrived at the Fright Zone, he would deliver them to Hordak.
"You're free to enjoy the voyage until then" After that, the pirate left the caboose.
"I hate that guy" Adora whispered.
"Me too. But I can't deny his beard look amazing. I wish I had something like that" Bow said.
"We can't let him hand us to Hordak!" Glimmer tried to teleport, but she was still weak because of the gas.
"This wouldn't be happening if we have focused on the mission instead of playing pirates. . ." Glimmer acknowledged their immature behavior. Adora agreed with her and said that Bow was right for scolding them.
"I did my part, girls. I shouldn't have lowered my guard when we discovered there was only two pirates to fight" Bow said.
After they admitted their mistakes, they discussed on how they could free themselves.
"If I had my quiver, I could use the point of an arrow to cut this ropes" Bow said.
"Need a wing?" Adora heard. Kowl was perched on a porthole of the camboose.
She told him to find Bow's quiver.
"I don't think he understands, Adora" Glimmer said.
"Trust me, he does. He's a clever owl" Adora replied.

Kowl flew on the deck and spotted Bow's things on a barrel, behind Sea Hawk.
"Captain, are we really going to surrender those three to the Horde?" Swen asked to him.
"It's necessary, Swen. Don't think about too much. It will be over soon" Sea Hawk said with resignation.
Kowl grabbed the quiver' strap with his beak and returned to the caboose.
After the three friends freed themselves, they tried to take control of the vessel.
Bow and Adora went to fight Sea Hawk.
"We're not going to the Horde" Adora affirmed.
"Sorry, beautiful. You're not the one who decides that. But if you don't want to come, I can do without you" The pirate extracted his laser sword to from the scabbard and cut a rope of the mast. Bow immediately crouched, but Adora was hitted by the sail and she fell off the vessel.
She agitated her hands and arms to stay afloat.
"What are you doing!? Swim, Adora!" Kowl grabbed her shirt to help her.
"I can't! I don't don't know how!" Adora turned her neckless into a life buoy and swimmed with it to the Solar Sailor.
"We have to go back for Adora!" Glimmer was jostling Swen for the rudder while Bow was trying to take Sea Hawk with one of his freezing arrows.

Adora was able to get back on the ship and she transformed.
"Who's the captain?" She-ra asked, standing on the roof of the cabin.
"You must be She-ra. The warrior I've heard about" Sea Hawk said.
She jumped off the roof and engaged a sword fight with the pirate.
"Just so you know, I've been pratcicing my sword skills since I was four" Sea Hawk said with an amused expression.
"Oh, please! I could beat you with a spoon" She-ra answered with a smile.
Glimmer finally managed to use her powers and she threw some sparkles at Swen's face. The man let go of the rudder so Glimmer took control of the ship.
She rolled the rudder and the Solar Sailor made a sharp move.
Bow slipped and bumped on a crate that contained the white cannon balls with the gas.
"She-ra!" Bow called her and threw one of the balls. She-ra hitted it with the smooth part of her sword, directing it ball to Sea Hawk.
The cannon ball exploted and the pirate collapsed because of the sleeping gas.

When he regained consciousness, Sea Hawk realized that him and Swen were tied to the mast of the Solar Sailor.
Glimmer, Bow and Adora were standing in front of them.
"So, captain, you got anything to say?" Bow asked to him.
Sea Hawk looked away.
"Nothing? Really?" .
"We had no choice!" Swen exclaimed.
"Swen, don't you dare!" Sea Hawk yelled.
"If he can't speak, then you'll have to do it. Come on, spit!" Adora ordered.
". . .The Horde has my father. . ." Sea Hawk confessed.
The expressions of the three rebells changed immediately.
"He's in the prisons of the Fight Zone. If I don't give them the informations and the supplies I steal from your ships, they'll sent him to work in the mines of the Crimson Waste" Sea Hawk explained.
"Falcon Blithe is an old man. He won't survive long in that place" Swen added.
Adora and her friends exchanged a look. In different ways, they could all relate to Sea Hawk's condition and so they felt pity for him.
Glimmer took an arrow from Bow's quiver and used it to cut the rope keeping the two men tied.
"I don't think you are bad people, but I'm not going to forgive you so easily. From now on you'll work for the Great Rebellion" Glimmer touched their shoulders with the point of the arrow "You'll give us informations about the Horde plans and we'll provide you enough supplies to make them believe you're still working for them" .
"Thank you so much for your kindness, princess!" Swen bowed to Glimmer.
Sea Hawk was hesitant, but then he also bowed to her.
"Thank you, princess Glimmer" he murmured.
"Now, can you take us back to our ship?" Bow asked.
Sea Hawk and Swen explained that after they were kidnapped, their ship sinked.
"Oh. . .Then you'll also take us where we need to go for our missions along the seas" Glimmer established.
