Chapter 25 Battle for Etheria (part 1)

Lohni was in Romeo's laboratory: he was working on his suit while she was sitting on the bed. They heard a whistle from the door.
"This is a big jump ahead from the dormitory!" Catra said, walking into that big room.
Romeo and Lohni looked at her with angry expressions.
"Look, I know you're not happy to see me. I just want to say that I'm sorry for what happened with the Horde, for letting Shadow Weaver imprison you and send you to the Crimson Waste" Catra said.
"If only someone had told a long time ago that Shadow Weaver was the worst. Oh wait, I told you that! But you had no proof of how deranged she was. . .No, you did!" Romeo grumped.
"Yes and I didn't want to believe you. I ignored what was right in front of me and helped Shadow Weaver with her stupid plans so she would love me. I regret it all. I want to fix what I did. So, can we try this again?" Catra extended her hand as a sign of peace.
Lohni shook her head.
"No! You can't do this! You can't show up and expect us to be friends again. You're ready to fix what you did? Well, we're not ready to accept you back in our lives!" Lohni turned around to not look at her.
There was nothing that Catra could say to change their minds, so she walked out of the room.
"We have to meet with the princesses" Romeo said with a calm voice.
Lohni dried her tears and they left the laboratory.

"If Prime wants to blow up the Fright Zone, we should let him do it" Sea Hawk said.
"If the bomb explodes, it won't destroy just the Fright Zone. The consequences will effect the rest of the planet" Adora affirmed.
"That means woods, villages and innocent civillians will desappear" Glimmer continued.
"So how do we stop Horde Prime this time?" Bow asked.
"You should. . .You should trick him!" Mermista's eyes were sparkling like a frozen lake "If Horde Prime believes that you're willing to surrender, he's going to lower his guard and that will give to someone the chance to deactivate his bomb" She explained her idea to the Grayskull twins.
"And who's capable of doing that?" Scorpia questioned.
"I could try, but. . . I'm afraid that having such a responsability could make me mess up" Romeo was scared just at the thought.
"And that's a risk you shouldn't take" Bow said, touching his shoulder.
"Then we need someone else who can work on the bomb" Adam said.
Adora had a realization. She left the room where all her friends were and Glimmer followed her to the prisons.

Adora passed next to Entrapta's cell and went directly to Hordak.
"We need you" Adora said.
Hordak looked at her and listened.
"Horde Prime has a bomb that can blow up half of the planet. You know enough about technology to prevent that from happening" Adora explained.
Hordak didn't say anything.
"For once in your life, do something for the good of others! If you really care about me, help me save this world. . . Please" Adora had tears in her eyes.
Hordak went closer to the bars of his cell.
"I'll do it" .
Adora's lips twiched like she wanted to say something. Instead she walked away from Hordak's cell. That's when she saw Glimmer.
"Hordak will work on the bomb" Adora tried to sound indifferent.
Glimmer went to hold her hand.
"It's going to be okay" the princess whispered.
Catra and Claws arrived in the prisons.
"Adora, Glimmer, I want to come to the Fright Zone with you" She said.
"Are you sure? We could die there, you know" Adora asked. Glimmer looked suspicious.
"I didn't do anything to help you fight Horde Prime before. I want to do my part" Catra answered.
"Okay, Catra. If that's what you want, you can come with us" Adora accepted her help.
"Did you hear that, Claws? This will be our greatest adventure!" . Her lion made a happy face and she saw that he was keeping something in his mouth.
"Bad lion! Spit it!" Catra squished his face and Claws spat out Kowl.

Sea Hawk gave to Bow the Horde armor that he used in the Scorpion Kingdom.
"I never thought one day I'd wear one of these" Bow said.
"At least this armor is big enough for you" Sea Hawk joked.
"Hey, I like my style" Bow laughed.
After Sea Hawk walked away, Romeo went to talk with Bow.
"Before you go, there's something important I have to tell you" Romeo was nervously playing with his glove.
"I'll make sure Adora comes back" Bow said.
"I know, but that's not what I wanted to say" Romeo didn't know how to confess his feelings.
Bow moved him closer and kissed him on the lips.
"That was a kiss. After we stopped Horde Prime, we'll have all the time in the world to talk" Bow said.
"Yes. T-that sounds doable" Romeo had an estatic expression.

Bow went to take Hordak from the prisons. He handcuffed his hand to what was left of his other arm and brought him out of his cell.
"Good luck, my love" Entrapta said from inside her cell.
Hordak stopped before it. He moved the hair from her face to tenderly caressed her.
"We have to go" Bow pushed him away.
Entrapta watched them walk out of the prisons. As soon as they left, a tear fell from her face.

The Grayskull twins, Glimmer, Catra and Claws were outside the castle.
"While Adam and I distract Horde Prime, you'll deactivate the bomb. Glimmer, Bow and Catra will take you to it and make sure you stay focused" Adora explained to Hordak.
"You've come a long way from being a simple cadet. I'm proud of you" He raised his hand to caress Adora's face, but she made a step back to not let him touch her.
"You lost that right a long time ago" .
Hordak and the others went inside the tank him and Entrapta used to reach Bright Moon. He-man got on his Battle Cat and She-ra jumped on Swift Wind.
While they were directed to the Fright Zone, the princesses created protective barriers: Perfuma grew tons of tall and strong shrubs to protect the Whispering Woods, Mermista and Mercia reaised the sea along Horde harbour and Frosta and her sister Crystalla created ice walls to protect the Crimson Waste.
"Now it's all in He-man and She-ra hands" Scorpia said when the barriers were ready.
