Adora woke up and realized that she was no longer stucked under the rubble of that house. She was inside a pink tent, laying on a soft bed and she was covered with a blanket that had a nice smell.
Adora scanned what was around herself, moving only her head. When she saw that her armor was on the ground, Adora  sat in a snap and felt a severe pain.
Her aching torso was bandaged, just like her left arm and one of her legs.
"Who saved me?" Adora murmured.
Someone finally walked inside the tent.
"You're awake!" Glimmer said relieved.
Adora took notice of the tiara on her head and realized that she was in the presence of a princess.
Adora looked for something that she could use to defend herself. She grabbed a twig and pointed it at Glimmer.
The princess laughed, but then Adora let go of the twig for how much her arm was hurting.
"Wait! You shouldn't strain the parts of your body that are injured" Glimmer got closer to Adora and she covered herself with the blanket.
"Hold on! What are your intentions?" Adora asked, trying to sound intimidating.
"I just want to see if your bandages need a change" Glimmer answered. She clapped her hands and a shining sphere appeared to lighten the tent. That fashinated Adora since the only magic she knew was Shadow Weaver's.
Glimmer raised her hand to remove the blanket and Adora grabbed her wrist.
"I don't want to hurt you" Glimmer swore, looking actually worried for her.
Adora didn't understand what was that weird feeling inside her chest.
That princess was her enemy, but she didn't look malitious. She wanted to check her bandages because she was the one who medicated her.
Adora slowly let go of Glimmer's wrist and allowed her to give a look at her injuries.
They remained silent in the time it took Glimmer to check Adora's bandages.
"I'm Glimmer of Bright Moon by the way. I bet you figured out that I was a princess when you saw me" Glimmer moved a stool to sit next to her.
"And I bet you know who I am" Adora said.
"You're a soldier of the Horde. We got that because of the armor you were wearing when we found you" the princess explained.
"Glimmer?" Bow went inside the tent "I knew I'd find you here. . . with her" He glanced at Adora and she reciprocated the look.
"Look who's awake! She- Sorry, what's your name?" Glimmer asked to the girl.
"Why do you want to know my name?" Adora questioned.
"Why do we need to know her name?" Bow asked.
"Because-!" Glimmer stood up and walked to her friend "We found her, so she's our responsability. And she could at least give us her name since we saved her life" Glimmer said, looking at the girl on her bed.
". . .My name is Adora" .
"Hi, Adora! Again, I'm Glimmer and this is my best friend, Bow. Take your time to rest. We'll be right back" Glimmer took Bow's arm and they walked out of the tent.
Adora heard Glimmer and Bow arguing about her.
"Bow, I know what you're thinking. Come on, don't keep it all in" .
"I just think we should care more about the villagers than someone who caused the destruction of their home" .
"You want me to ignore her? You know I can't to that" .
"Glimmer, that girl is from the Horde! She works for our enemy!" .
"She's just a soldier, not Hordak himself. She's injured and completely harmless. I'm sure she won't cause us any problem" .

The Horde army had returned to the Fright Zone with a Force Captain missing.
Shadow Weaver was in Hordak's room, with Grizzlor, Leech and Mantenna. They were standing at the base of his throne.
Mantenna was kneeling on the floor, explaining to Hordak what happened during the mission and how Adora got involved in the incident that they believed caused her demise.
"We don't know exaclty how it went. The tanks were supposed to fire only to get the villagers out of their houses. I don't understand why Adora abbandoned her position" Mantenna was sweating cold.
Shadow Weaver's spell made him forget that he told Adora to go inside that house.
Hordak was listening in a suspicious silent. He was hiding his eyes behind his robotic hand.
When Mantenna finished explaining, Hordak violently slammed his fist on the armrest of the throne.
The other Force Captains stepped back, knowing what was about to happen.
Hordak raised his robotic arm, some electric wires from the ceiling grabbed Mantenna's arms and legs and they picked him up. A powerful electric shock electroduced him, making him scream for the pain.
The others watched without objecting.
When the tourture was over, the wires let Mantenna fell on the floor and returned to their previous positions.
"Return to that village and destroy everything that's left of it! I want it to be reduced to ashes!" Hordak yelled to the rest of his Force Captains.
"And. . . The prisoners?" Leech asked afraid.
"I want no prisoners" Hordak clarified.
He ordered them to leave and bring Mantenna with them; the smell of burned meat was plaguing the room.
After they left, Hordak went to the balcony.
A red lock of hair touched his shoulder and Hordak took a deep breath to calm himself.
"I shouldn't have allowed her to leave the Fright Zone. . ." He said with remorse.
"Nothing would have stopped her from doing it. She was stubborn one, just like you" A female voice comforted him.

Hordak wasn't the only one mourning for Adora.
Romeo and Lohni were in the dormitory. Their humiliating defeat was nothing compared to the pain of losing their dear friend.
They were keeping a solemn silence, while Catra was looking at them from the door.
She wanted to go inside, but Shadow Weaver teleported in front of her and blocked the way.
"Don't waste your time. Nothing that you could say would help them" Shadow Weaver gently pushed Catra away.
"So? Did you speak with Hordak?" She asked.
"This is not the right moment to discuss with him about your promotion. But he wants our army to go back to Thaymor and destroy it" the woman explained.
"Go back? I don't think I want to go back there. . ." Catra mumbled.
"You have to! We're so close to our goal. You can't give up now that Adora is no longer an obstacle in our way" Shadow Weaver scolded her to convince her.

When the evening came, Glimmer went in her tent to bring Adora something to eat.
"How are you feeling, Adora?" The princess asked, leaving a plate with a fork on the bed.
"What's this?" Adora asked.
"Your dinner. It's not much but the supplies we brought with us belong to the villagers. They need them more than anyone else" Glimmer answered, sitting on the stool like she did before.
Adora moved closer the plate. She knew that the food outside the Fright Zone was different, but the things she was seeing looked so weird.
Adora picked one of the red long shaped things with a fork and took a small bite: it was juicy and the taste tikled her tounge. After she ate the sauceges, she tried the orange and white flubby stuff. That was salty and bit clammy.
"This is so good!" She said with her mouth full of the orange and white stuff.
"Bow's a great cook" Glimmer smiled.
"He made this for me?" Adora questioned, because she thought Bow didn't like her.
"No. He said he didn't want to cook for you. That's my dinner" Glimmer admitted.
"You're so. . . Nice. You're nothing like they told us" Adora said.
"Adora, have you ever stopped to think that the things they told you in the Horde are not true?" Glimmer asked.
Adora snorted.
"What are you talking about? The Horde would never lie to us" She was looking suspicious at the princess.
"Think about this: was the Horde ever attacked by people like the ones you saw today? How many Horde soldiers were killed by a princess? Do you recall some villagers voluntarily joining your side?" Glimmer was trying to make her understand.
Adora reflected on those questions. She remembered the things she saw when they attacked Thaymor. All the clues led to the same conclusion.
"But Hordak said that. . ." Adora couldn't believe that he lied to her.
She let the plate fall off the bed, grabbed the blanket and covered herself.
"I'm sorry that you had to find out like this. . ." Glimmer was feeling bad for her.
The princess went to lay down on a makeshift bed and tried to get some sleep.
Adora was just staring into space, holding back the sour tears.
