3rd Person POV
Sanji eyes flutter open as he feels the sun cascading through the half opened hotel window. He groans quietly knowing that he's going to have to get up at some point. He slowly turns over to be face to face with the sleeping swordsman next to him. A small smile graces his face seeing how content he looks. He then remembers what they did last night when he feels how naked the two of them are and cringes as a small blush makes its way to his face. He then pokes Zoro to try to get him awake so they can get ready for their day.
"Mosshead wake up."
Grunt
"Marimo get upppp."
Grunt
"Oh my god! Is that Mihawk outside?!?"
"Huh! Where?!" - THUMP
"OUCH!"
Sanji tried holding in his laughter as he saw Zoro flip over and them promptly fall right off the bed but he couldn't.
"Hahah! You dumbass!"
"That was mean you asshole!"
"Hey at least your awake now. We need to get ready so we can get supplies and go to the ship."
Sanji rolls his eyes seeing the Swordsman lay on the ground in a giant mess of blankets pouting while rubbing his head. Sanji rolls over on his stomach to angle himself to give Zoro a kiss but stops completely when he feels their mess from last night still there. Zoro sends him a questioning look and get up from the floor.
"Whats the matter curls?"
Sanji blushes and says, "Just forgot about the mess last night." Zoro gives him a smirk and leans and kisses him cheek. "Well get used to it for now on." Sanji slaps his wrist lightly as he hears Zoro chuckle since thats the only thing he can currently reach and goes to get off the bed. Once he goes to stand, right when he puts weight on his feet his knees buckle and a hiss leaves his mouth. Zoro goes to him right away to catch him before he falls to the ground saving him from the floor he just got up from.
"Woah. Are you okay?"
"Do I look okay?! I can't walk and it's all your fault!"
"Hey! Don't blame all this on me! You started it in the morning!" Sanji just groans and holds onto Zoros arm the is wrapped around his waist. "We need to shower. I feel disgusting." Zoro nodded. "Yeah the hot water might help your back a little bit too." He helped Sanji get into the bathroom and has him lean against the counter to help take some of the pressure off his lower back. He turns the shower on and lets it warm up before helping Sanji in. The chef sighs at the heat thats being directly onto his back as Zoro is holding his arms to keep him steady. He kisses his forehead and says, "Hopefully this will help enough for you to be able to walk. I am sorry but I don't regret it." Sanji smiles at him and pecks his lips. "I don't either."
While in the shower, the two help wash each other up and get out before they do anything that could hinder Sanji walking once again much to Zoro's dismay. Thankfully Sanji was able to walk with a small limp that would hopefully go unnoticed by the crew. Knowing their little doctor, that might not happen. They get dressed and begin packing the little things they had in the room before venturing off into the town. Sanji held Zoros hand not becuase he wanted to no. Absolutely not because he wanted to make sure he didn't get lost again. Yeah, that's definitely the reason.
"Carrying all these groceries is gonna be hard since I still am struggling to walk correctly."
"Don't worry about it. I'll carry them. It's the least I could do since I ruined you last night." Sanji felt his face heat up for what feels like the 100th time today. He hears Zoro laugh as he goes, "Don't say it so loud! Not everyone on the island needs to know." He shakes his head and continues to drag the swordsman in the direction of all the shops he needs to go to.
They walk around for a few hours as Zoros arms begin to fill up with bags. "Why do we need so much? Do you get this amount everytime my god." Sanji snorts at his complaint. "Well if you don't like talk to our black hole of a captain. Most of this is just for him." They both sigh at the thought. They find a small resturant and decide to take a break and get some lunch.
As they were eating, Sanji looks up to ask Zoro a question. "Why did you ask for me to yours a second time?" Zoro looked at him questioningly then realized what he meant. "I felt bad that the last time was because of a fight. I wanted it to be for a good reason and after our little date I thought that would be a perfect time to ask." Sanji looked down and smiled. He truly couldn't believe that all of this was happening. Zoro was finally his as he was Zoros. Once they were done eating they decided it was close to the time they should be going back to the ship with all the supplies they've gotten. Before leaving the resturant, they had one more thing to discuss.
"Zoro. How are we gonna tell the crew?" Sanji looked at him anxiously. He was nervous how the rest of the crew is gonna feel. He knows Luffy and Robin doesn't care just because of the fact that when Zoro was out they helped him through it. He was just worried how everyone else is gonna feel about it.
"Well we don;t have to worry about Luffy or Robin for sure. I think we should just tell them up front. That way we don't have to worry about sneaking around on the ship with everyone. I also don't want to get on Robins bad side. She's like the only person in the world that gives me the slight creeps." Zoro shivered remembering her threat to him before he left the ship a few nights ago. Sanji rose his eyebrows at him and asked, "What? Did she say something to you?" Zoro nodded and said, "She said if I hurt you she thinks Luffy would understand if we needed a new swordsman." Sanji laughed out loud.
"Well you don't need to worry about that. Even if fights or things happen we will try to find a way to work through it."
Zoro smiled at him. He loves the way Sanji can think of the postitives. He on the other thinks the complete opposite and always expects the worst to come. Maybe being with Sanji might add a little light into his world of darkness. He can feel his heart swelling at the thought of Sanji being his and surprisingly enjoys the feeling. As Sanji is still explaning ways they could tell the crew, Zoro muffles all the out as he just continues to stare at Sanji with eyes that were filled to brim with love and adortion. While Zoro is just sitting there staring, he doesn't realize the words that slip out of his mouth until after they're spoken.
"I love you." Sanjis eyes widen as his explaination is cut off by 3 words he wants to hear for the rest of his life. He smiles as he sees Zoro face heat up in embarassment at what he just said. All Sanji does is take his hand from across the table and bring it up to his face. He kisses the knuckles and says back, "I love you too."
After hearing Sanji say it back, Zoro feels a thousand butterflies go off in his stomach all at once. He continues holding Sanjis hand gingerly as they begin to discuss the topic on hand.
"We both know we want to tell the crew, but the question is when."
"Sanji I think it would be better to tell them right when we get back. It makes it easier for us so I can have all to myself whenever I want."
"Oi! You damn horndog that's not happening right away! You destroyed my ass last time!"
Zoro laughs out loud but begrudgingly agreed to wait a little bit until they can go again.
"Well you know Chopper is going to ask about your limp right when he sees you."
"I know. Maybe telling them up front will be best."
Zoro nods and they both get up grabbing they many bags they had and begin their way back to the Sunny.
