"Andy!" Connor said as we walked in. Andy picked him up as he ran to the desk, sitting him on his lap.

"Hi!" He said. Andy had a dark blue suit on. He looked damn good.

I sat down in the chair in front of his desk while Connor played with his tie.

I crossed my legs. Holy fuck was he hot.

"How was your morning?" Andy asked me. I smiled softly.

"Good." I whispered. He smiled.

Connor looked at his desk. Jesus I can't take it...that suit.

He looked so.. pretty. In the most handsome way. Andy let his eyes trail up and down my body. He gave me eyebrows.

I smiled softly. He looked down at Connor. Connor beamed up at him before looking back around.

"Hey bud. What if we go out to dinner...you and me take mom out. Spoil her?"

"Yeah!"

I chuckled softly. Andy smiled at me.

"Connor I definitely have to show you around. My coworker Nancy has candy and I know she will give you some." Andy said as he walked out with Connor.

I got up and looked around. He had his diplomas hung up, pictures of Jake as a boy, and a picture of us when we were teenagers.

It was a picture of us posing at a party, probably taken on my camera. He was kissing my cheek while I hugged him softly. I smiled and touched the picture. We looked so happy. God that little pedo mustache did nothing for him though.

As I stared at it, Connor and Andy came back in. Connor had a sucker.

"Hey." I said. Andy saw the picture that I was looking at and smiled at me. I smiled back.

Our little staring contest got interrupted when Connor came over. He hugged my legs, making me smile. Andy came over and kissed my cheek.

"Remember that night?" Andy whispered. I nodded and picked up Connor.

"It was a good night." I whispered. Andy smiled and looked at the picture.

"You loved that facial hair." He said.

"I absolutely hated it." I said. He laughed. I loved his laugh.

Connor rested his head on my shoulder.

"Is it nap time?" Andy asked. Connor and I nodded.

"Best get going. I'll see you tonight though." I said. Andy kissed me softly before letting me go.

"Love you." He said under his breath.

I smiled at him.

"And bye buddy. I'll see you later for dinner!" He said. Connor waved bye.

Andy drove Connor and I to the restaurant. He had his hand in my lap the entire time. I played with his fingers.

Connor had a stuffed animal in the back with him. I think Andy was reliving his life as a parent of a young boy. He really cared for Connor.

"What's on your mind?" Andy asked.

"Hmm? Oh. I don't know." I said. "Nothing really."

He smiled and grabbed my hand, holding it. I smiled at him.

"Hey can we talk later?" I asked quietly. "Stay over."

"Yeah...you okay?" He asked, his demeanor shifting a bit.

"I'm good." I said.

I wanted to ask him about our relationship moving forward. I know we talked about our relationship, even with it being a little long distance, but there was more to it.

Adam was going to move out to live with Claudia. He was gonna marry her, and he was having a kid with her.

I don't know what to do with myself. I know that we would be sharing Connor. He wasn't taking Con away, but I was lonely at home.

I think I was gonna move into a smaller house.

There's just so much to think about.

"Rory. You seem off." Andy said as we got back home. I had put Connor to bed and bid my parents goodnight.

They knew Andy was staying over.

I took off my cardigan and shirt and put on a comfy shirt, and then some comfy pajama pants.

"I'm okay." I said. "I just...I talked to Adam earlier." I said.

"Okay..."

I smiled to myself and looked at Andy. "Get comfy Barber. I have a lot to talk about." I whispered.

"Alright." He said. He changed and got into bed with me. He pulled me in and kissed my head.

I rested my head on his chest.

"Start with the thing that's bothering you most."

"Adam and I are gonna stop living together and we're gonna do shared custody." I said.

"Alright...well it's understandable. I mean he's getting married, he's expecting with his fiancé." Andy said.

I nodded. "Of course. But I can't take care of the whole house by myself. It's a big house and I mean...Adam is a doctor so he's pretty much paid for the house."

"Okay. So are you looking for a new place?" He asked. I nodded.

"I just- it's the first house we got since getting married. Connor was a house birth, he was literally born there. There's just so many memories and stuff. And I'm also conflicted about moving back in this area but that's so much driving for Connor." I said.

Andy brushed his hands through my hair.

"Before you keep going, you wanna just talk or do you want my opinion?"

"Your opinion."

"Okay. I think that you should move in with me."

I looked up at him and chuckled. "You serious?"

"Yeah."

"Oh. Wow you're serious." I said. His face changed.

"Why wouldn't you?" He asked.

"I umm. Andy we've only been around each other for a week."

"And we dated when we were young." He said.

"Andy...we need to see where this is actually going before anything like moving in. At least six months." I said.

"Alright. So that was my plan a. Plan b is to stay in town. Find a smaller house. Just...whenever you don't have Connor come here." He said.

"That I can do."

"Or when you do have Connor cause that kid is too cute. Besides I have extra rooms."

I chuckled. "You're so good to him."

He smiled proudly. "I miss being a dad to a young boy. I love Jacob to death but there's just something about a young boys energy."

"He's a keeper for sure."

"That he is Aurora lynn."
