🌕CHAPTER 10🌑

Talat's point of view

I strolled and walked fast to a door. I pushed it open and barked.

"Tell Walter to get the fuck off the case now!"

Dad jump up but I fumed and puffed and throw my self into a seat.

How dare him?

How could he threaten me with that?

"I know he is your brother, so the best thing you do is keep out of this, if you don't, I'll make sure the whole department knows."

The whole conversation flashes through my head as dad sent me a confuse look. Oh yes, he would be confuse. He always underestimate those around him. He never knew what Walter did. What Walter did to me.

I remembered four years ago, when I return from Istanbul, everything was going smoothly. My life was just normal every day routine, normal murder cases, until one day I had to arrest some motherfuckers. It turn out those assholes where from Walter family. I don't know what and how he did it but he got them out. They died, for what? I don't know. Walter think I did it and sent men over to my place to shoot me. It was a good thing I had body guards.
Now Walter is on my head, neck and is back for it.

"Look Talat, he is a good cop, whatever you have-"

"Good cop my ass?!" I got up and pull of my jacket.

"You know what? I can't take this anymore Talat! My son is dead. I don't give a fuck about your problems with Walter or whoever!" He barked at me and just like that he stab another hole in my cold heart. Why everytime he hurt me I can't stop forgiving him?

I got up and grab my jacket and leave. Then it hit me,where is Caroline?

Caroline's point of view

"Just enter the car and let's go," Walter said.

We were further from the hospital but still on the compound. He had forcefully pull Matilda and even though I wanted to cry and run; I kept my face grim and fiddle with my fingers to keep me from running off. I couldn't leave my precious sister behind. Every thing I've been through was just to keep her safe.

I could see how scared Matilda was even though she stop crying she didn't stop looking me in the eyes. Everytime I looked at her, her eyes were staring right into mine.

Oh God what have I done to deserve this? Time like this I want to disappear or die. Yes, I want to die. Maybe my life will be better on the other side.

But for now I have to stay alive for her

I walked towards his car and grab Matilda from him. We went into the car and he closed the door and drove off.

Third person point of view

Vince walked back and fort in a expensive bedroom; a guess bedroom, with his hands on his hips, dressed in a pajamas, yes, he was about to chill with his precious wife. She was in the bathroom getting ready for him. He had no idea what came over her, why was she so extra sweet tonight.

He then got a call from Talat, claiming how Caroline has become a killer. She had killed his brother. He did know Junior. In fact he has known the small Morris family. Now he heard Walter took his two lungs from him. He wandered how is he still breathing.

Nervousness popped and he sweat. How could he hide this from Pauline? Pauline was like a snake under that skin, he know that much about her. She could use it against him, just as much as she used his fault of Mercy's death.

He remembered clearly what happened, guilt never leaved him and he always remain loving her, but Pauline shouldn't know that.

Flashback

"I would never cheat on you! I love you, you know that!" Mercy barked, she walked back way towards the balcony railing, pitiful. Her long blond hair blowing behind her, her green eyes begged him to believe her. He didn't because she was dressed up in a blue dinner dress, she had been going out for weeks without telling him. He had enough, everything she tells him, he thinks it's a lie.

He had laid his hands on her for the first time and they quarrelled where she ran to the balcony.

" How could you do this to me huh? How? What Have I done to deserve this? I took you up from the dirt, I cleaned you, I polished you, I loved you more than life, I gave you two beautiful kids. I know they are mine. I made sure to do a paternity test. How could you?!"

He step close to her and grab her by her arms shaking her. He shook and shook and so they battled. She tried to deny it but instead she hit him, which angered him more. She was pushed over the railing. He watch her fall with his heart pounding.

End of flash back

"Baby! Where are you? I'm ready!" Pauline seductive voice interrupt his memory. He wiped his eyes and walked out of the room.

Pauline stood in front of him in nothing but the sweet sent of perfume. It tingles his nostril and send a heat into has groin. That was what Pauline wanted but how could she seduce him when he has his mind on his daughter? No sex could clear his mind. So his hard hood better go back dead.

"Pauline not tonight honey."

"What?" Her mouth hang open at his ridiculous statement. She had the intention of hitting him across his face but held her arms.

"Anything for you baby, I understand, Caroline will be fine."

Talat's point of view

"I need your help Shane."

"With what? Why the hell do you look like somebody ate your breakfast, lunch and dinner? Your super time is almost now. What the hell are you doing here at this time? " Shane said, looking at his watch. He was packing up a brief case to go home.

"I think we are going to be up all night."
