Third point of view

Further in the evening, Volkan got there with Daisy. Matilda was the one who got up from beside Dave and unlocked the door. He held Daisy's hand and nodded his head at Dave, who nodded back. Stepping inside he looks around for Caroline; Caroline who had everything planned out. She sat on the sofa further from everyone else. She had been waiting for this moment.

"You'll have company, little one. This is Daisy, Talat's daughter," Dave got up at that, with a look on his face. He sat back down when he met Caroline's eyes across the room.

"But- Caroline, doesn't- I don't understand," Matilda's brows furrowed.

'I thought he liked you,' Matilda turned and mouthed.

"Just be nice, Daisy, this is Matilda, my sister. She'll be your new playmate. Okay?" Caroline got up and walked towards them. She looks down at Daisy's curious gazes.

"Okay, I guess," she was curious to see the rest of the house, as she impatiently thug on Volkan's hand.

"Am not even talking to you right now, Volkan. Guys give me a minute," Caroline said.

She went outside and rushed around the back. This is it. This was the moment she had been waiting for. It may as well be her last time seeing this house, but for now she have no plan to stay here when she wants to go.

Looking through an east window, she looked in at them. They won't miss her, look at them engrossing in conversation.

She grabs a strap bag that she'd hidden under a rose bush. It held: earpods, charger, power bank, three long pants; black, jeans and blue jeans. Two blouse and a black pullover, one red dress and a silver heel, perfume, lotion, toothbrush, deodorant, hand sanitizer, comb, brush, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, five bra's and five pairs of underwear, four donuts and a bottle of water, along with a pad of cash that she had taken from her bank account, it wasn't much but she could do a lot with it.

She had folded what could be folded neatly and hid it, now she sets it inside Volkan's car trunk. She held the breath she was holding and climbed In after. Locking down the trunk slowly then She crosses her fingers and sets herself in a comfortable position. Her ears stayed alert and then she remembered that she hadn't eaten dinner.

What madness is she's doing? This could all go wrong. It seems like a year later when Volkan finally entered his car and started the engine. He drove out and waited for the gate to open. He sped away and then she took deep breaths and carefully blew them out.

"What do you mean? Call her friend Kimberly and ask where she is," Vince wiped his face in frustration. It has been hours since Caroline's shadow hasn't been seen. That's not normal for her, she would normally try and do something in the house; either change something about it or bother Matilda.

Now even Matilda seems worried as Daisy consoles her.

"Caroline is okay," she said putting her middle and index in her mouth. She ran her tiny hand up and down Matilda's shoulders as they sat cuddled on a sofa.

"I don't have her number," said Dave.

"I saw you talking to her earlier."

"That doesn't mean I have her number, Dad."

"Oh my god, let me drive over there and see if she went to her. I can't believe Caroline disappeared again," then it hit him like a shower.

"Talat! Let me call Talat," he rummaged through his pockets and found his phone.

"Am not getting him."

A ring zipped through the air and I bit my lip in silence.
