Caroline's point of view

I watch it fell; the chandelier. Seconds away from dropping on me. A scream escape my throat as it missed my head.

"Caroline!" Matilda shrieked.

"I'm okay."

Talat rushed in and lookup then at me.

"Are you okay?"

I stepped back but I almost fell on face. He held on to my arm.

"You are shaking."

I heard a snif and I turn to see Matilda eyes filling with tears.

"I'm fine Ma-"

Foot step echoed down a long stair way.

"Is everything alright down here? I almost fly back to in Istanbul, the instant. Allah, I leave my stick upstairs. Volkan!" His grandmother descend from the stairs, with a black shaul around her neck, her gray hair caught back in a neat bun. She wore a black long skirt and a brown blouse along with a flat shoe.

"Sit down," said Talat.

"Are you alright dear?" His grandmother asked. She sit next to me and felt my pulse in my hand.

"You, Talat, get a glass of water and my pressure kit."

"She said she is fine."

"She is not fine, her heart is racing. Just relax dear, relax. Where is Volkan? Who is this young lady? It's hot in here. Talat, turn the air conditioner on for me."

Talat moves off and return with the water and her walking stick.

"I'm Caroline sister, Matilda."

"Ohh, sit, the television is over there you can watch it if you want."

Her accent sounds so heavy yet melodic.

"Just drink the water and then get some rest, you don't need a kit. You don't need to worry how high your blood pressure is," Talat said.

"Olyum-"

"It's alright, no need to worry, she will be-" but he was interrupt by the television.

"It is now concluded that Pauline Harding, the current wife of Vince Harding, one of the most popular business partner; is on the run. She is the drug leader, that as been pushing heroine, meth and ecstasy. "

Talat and his grandmother stood slowly.

"But she is not on the run, they took her, I watch them-" Matilda eyes were now filled with tears, bright, I could see them, from such a distant.

"-it is decided that Vince Harding will be called into questioning."

"Dad, my dad can't go to jail, Caroline, will daddy go to jail?"
She rush over to me and I sighed. I took the remote from her hand and give to Talat, who turned it off.

"Could I talk to you for a bit?" His grandmother asked.

"Let me show them to the guest room first."

I knew they were going to talk about me. I could feel it. Whatever she has to say, why couldn't she say in front of me? No, no, she is a nice old witch. She is not going to say anything bad about me.

I sighed and followed Talat up a stair, since there are two stair way, one of which the grandmother descend from.

"You will sleep in this room, you are free to anything you want, except ruin anything of course," He took hold of Matilda wrist. I watch how Gentle he held her and leads her to a close room.
He open the door and walked in with her. She turn her head and look at me and I nod.
