At long last, finals have arrived.

Cecilia was running through the adrenaline of her men that she felt like she was on top of the world.

Or was she having a manic episode?

Either way, life felt like she was in a movie.

On Monday was her food and cooking fundamentals exams. Addy made a quizlet and Cecilia was studying that as much as she could. The whole class was in shambles and when she looked at the exam, nothing on the quizlet was on the exam. Cecilia felt sweat drip down her body and she would nervously bit her pencil from time to time.

The cooking part was a lot more satisfying than usual, maybe because it was just baking which is like a walk in the park compared to cooking. But, Cecilia loved cooking more, mainly because cooking is both an art and an essential skill in life.

Tuesday was just an essay that Cecilia finished at leats 2 weeks early. So, she could just relax and chill for a bit.

On Tuesday, Joesph and her facetimed at 11 at night and were studying together. Both of them were quite nervous and Joesph had a small cold that made him cough every few seconds.

Cecilia felt a sense of sadness and she wanted to give Joesph a massive hug.

She imagined his massive biceps wrapped around her and her head on his shoulder. Playing with his hair just a little bit and giving him a tiny peck on his forehead.

"Cecilia? Is everything ok?"

Snapped back to reality again.

"Oh yeah, sorry. I guess the wi fi is acting up on my line."

"It's ok."

He coughed again.

Evan's name popped up on top of her phone.

"Cosmo. What are you doing right now? Are you asleep?"

Cecilia bit her lip.

The thing was that Evan knew about Joesph. He did. And to be honest, it seemed like he didn't care. Or, maybe there is something else.

She just ignored his notification.

By then, she checked the time and it's been an hour already.

"So, to find ap - ep, you have to do a percentage?"

"Yep!"

"Alright, cool cool."

She giggled a little.

"She's so beautiful." Joesph whispered.

Did Cecilia hear that correctly? She couldn't contain her smile and bit her lip again.

Instead, she yawned.

"Wow, has it been an hour already?" She looked again at the time.

"I guess so."

"You know, I guess I lose track of time when I'm with you."

"Yeah, you're right."

They laughed.

"It's pretty late actually. I have an exam tomorrow morning."

"Oh, you should've said something. we could have done this earlier."

"No no no, it's fine! I don't mind."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I was studying all night."

"Maybe you should get some rest."

"Ok. Good night."

"Good night. Sweet dreams."
