"Look, I don't think this is going to work out."
The day finally came. It was January 17th at 10 in the morning.
"It's never going to happen, and I'm sick of waiting. If you wanted me, then you would've done what I wanted."
Cecilia felt numb, she felt nothing. Just watching Evan spamming her phone.
"And besides, I was going to stop talking to you anyways."
She didn't care anymore, she just pulled an Evan on Evan.
"Ok. That's fine. Yeah."
All her responses to him were plain and stale.
She deleted his conversation and wiped away the nothingness off of her face. She was free at last. No more hot and cold.
Joesph was the one for her all along, it was always him.
Cecilia squealed and grabbed one of her teddy bears off of her bed and started to dance with it.
She imagined her and Joesph were dancing together under the moonlight, while he was singing "The Pool" by Stephan Sanchez to her.
"To fall in love isn't easy when you're afraid of heights, but I can't help but fall when I look into your eyes. So blue, I love the hue. But, more than that, I do love you."
He booped her nose.
"Every night I'm in bed, I fight to keep you off my brain, and almost everyday, that's how I spend most of my days. It's true, there is no use. I can't escape the thought of you, so..."
"Would you trust me to catch you at the bottom of the pool?
If I told you my whole heart that I loved you, that
I loved you that, I loved you
But I'm afraid, I'm scared of those romantic words, you see?
Ain't it ironic how those are just the songs I sing about?
My lovely, do you rеally love me?
When I hеar you whisper under your breath"
She mouthed "I love you."
"Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh"
"I lost you when I lost me, didn't mean to at the time
All the hurt I was feeling in my heart it made me blind to you
What you'd been through, I paid no mind
Though I meant to andAll the fire I felt within my bones became eclipsed
Just the touch of your hands
You're heart and oh my God, your lips
Oh, I just wish that, I just wish that you wouldWould you trust me to catch you at the bottom of the pool?
If I told you my whole heart that I loved you, that
I loved you that, I loved you
But I'm afraid, I'm scared of those romantic words, you see?
Ain't it ironic how those are just the songs I sing about?
My lovely, do you really love me?
When I hear you whisper under your breath."
The world started to become more alive and more vibrant. The colors and people were starting to come to life and everything felt as bright as they did when she first saw Joesph.
"I love you
I love you
I love you
Oh, it's true, oh"
He lifted her up for everybody to see.
"Oh, oh-oh, oh, oh-oh
Oh, oh-oh, oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh"
They started to sing together.
"Would you trust me to catch you at the bottom of the pool?
If I told you my whole heart, that I loved you, that
I loved you that, I loved you
But I'm afraid, I'm scared of those romantic words, you see?
Ain't it ironic how those are just the songs I sing about?
My lovely, do you really love me?
When I hear you whisper under your breath"
They kissed at the end of the dance and the world was at a standstill.
Only for Evan to be seen in the corner. His face had hurt, anger, and regret before he left the scene.
Nothing would be able to touch Joesph and Cecilia now.
