The beginning of the year was just like it was last year, Evan kept on trying with her but nothing could ever be done. He wanted to see her that bad, didn't he?

Cecilia was always working, sleeping, writing, or just in deep thought.

At night, she would stargaze and look at all of the stars.

During the day, she would read and cuddle with her cat.

Life seemed to just be busy for her, and she needed a time of rest for once.

Her hangover got her out for a little bit before she could fully function again, and after cleaning up the mess that she made, she promised to never drink.

Besides that and the fact that she was throwing up like crazy while she was working, and Evan sent her a few long texts full of worry.

Joesph slowly started to fade away from her life, and his thought never came around unless she forced herself to think about him.

It seemed that once she took off the rose colored glasses, that he wasn't really all that. He was nice, respectful, and shy, but what else did he have to bring to the table? Not too much, if he was a husband, he'd be a mediocre one at best.

Maybe Evan was right, unless that was a hint of jealously and manipulativeness.

For now, Cecilia tucked her love life aside and to the back of her brain. Save the thought for a rainy day.

When she did think about them, she would write about what was on her mind about them.

His lips were pure like heaven

His eyes swallowed me with delight

The way he holds me tightly

Makes me forget the concept of time

The way he speaks, the way he acts

Completly different from how he is

He wants to talk, but I can't

Yet he always gives me a second chance

I don't deserve it, but why?

Why does he do that when he makes me cry?

It leaves me in a standstill

Afraid to pull the trigger

Why can't I explain how he makes me feel?

The flow wasn't right, so she left it as is.

Maybe she should just forget about both of them.

Or, maybe she should've just kept her focus on Joesph.

Yet, Evan was pulling her in with much more of a stronger force.

One night, when she couldn't sleep, she turned on the tv and saw that "The Labiryth" was on.

She turned on the movie just as the scene with "As the World Falls Down" started to play.

"There's such a sad love deep in your eyes, a kind of pale jewel."

While watching it, she started to fall asleep.

In her dream, instead of David Bowie, it was Evan behind the mask. His eyes stared at her with a combination of want and mystery.

It was a dangerous kind of feeling, yet it felt magical.

That is the way that Evan is, the way that he can give her the world but for a price.

Is it worth it? Or, is he giving her a world of empty promises?

She can only dwell upon it, but for now, she will never know.

Only he holds the answer that she is looking for.
