Week 9: Keeping a Promise

As an abolitionist, I forbid my gloomy coyote from getting too keen on genetics. I learned my lesson when my last coyote learned about mass and left me to go to college. A variable I did not consider was that he went to college so he could get a good job. I found this to be the case when he called from the school and bit back at my guiltripping with a retort that made me immediately feel a swell of pride. I instantly started apologizing for how I had treated him and assured him that I was proud of his 4.0 GPA and soon early graduation. I promised him I would never suppress others' interests again, and I'll always keep this promise, because once I began supporting my current coyote in his genetic endeavors, I saw just how happy it made him.
