A knock on the door makes Riku raise his head, he looks for a moment at Sora, who is still sleeping like a lead next to him. With a grim face he gets up and goes to open the door. He finds Mirabel. Dressed like yesterday, smiling and animated as if she was an inexhaustible ball of energy. Something that, to Riku, with his headache to irritation in the eyes, causes special displeasure.

"Good morning!" greets Mirabel. "We'll be serving breakfast shortly, Abuela wants you to tell us about the monsters and all that during the meal so I came to wake you up and ask you to be ready." explains the girl and Riku gives a snort with a frown.

"When?"

"Ahorita."

"And that's how long?"

Mirabel widens her eyes and tightens her smile. Good question.

"Maybe... Fifteen minutes?" tempts Mirabel gesturing and grimacing in amusement. Riku gives a groan and closes the door before going to bed, he moves Sora a bit who wakes up looking grumpy. Despite the deep sleep, he doesn't seem to be rested, how ironic.

"Let's have breakfast and explain what's going on, get dressed."

"Why?"

"Just do it."

Sora talks pure nonsense when he wakes up. You can tell his mind is somewhere else still. Riku watches him dress lazily and slowly, getting out and barely regaining his usual self when he gets some sun and smells the food. Riku yawns covering his mouth with his fist How are all these people so lively if they just got up? And it hasn't been that long since they went to bed. That party went on forever.

"¡Anda! he's fine! He didn't throw up!" celebrates Camilo carrying dishes to the table outside the house. "I thought it was going to be worse for his first pea."

"Nah, he held it like a champ." Luisa says.

"I heard him last night. He was about to throw up." says Dolores in a low voice, who arranges other dishes on that table without chairs. Mirabel explains to Sora that he can have whatever he wants for breakfast, putting it on a plate and that his place is at the end of the table.

"For someone so big, you have almost no stamina. Where you come from, they must not be very strong." opines Isabela before taking a plate and starting to serve herself. Sora looks at another one without understanding what those things are. Doesn't recognize any of this food.

"They are arepas" says Mirabel putting one on her plate and on Riku's who is still annoyed. "This one is egg, this one is corn, this one has chicken and avocado inside" She puts one of each. "This is scrambled egg, this is ajiaco-"

"I-I better just take this." Sora smiles nervously and leaves with the plate as high as it is. Mirabel put everything on it and even gave him another one with soup. Riku was able to refuse and go with the one he already has.

The atmosphere is strangely calm and familiar. It's actually the first time they see such a close and close family environment. Usually it's just siblings, or parents with their children. Not such a huge family. Sora is eating everything. He has to say, the arepas were a bit strange for him.

Mainly because he has the feeling that some of them should have the filling inside and not on top, but he still ate them and, in his moment of "comelona", Alma clears her throat.

"I think it would be a good time to find out more regarding these creatures that now roam el Encanto."

Sora lifts his head with full cheeks. He looks at Riku, almost waiting for him to speak first. He has more than half a soup in his mouth. His partner, on the other hand, doesn't even look up. Sora swallows hard and with difficulty.
