A/n: actual nsfw lol. This is a long chapter. Enjoy ;)
I dragged König every morning, as soon as I woke up, out to the field to practice. We took things slow, letting my arm slowly heal. I had three weeks left of training before the big mission. And let me tell you, I was nervous as hell.
"Nice shot. Just pay attention to your position. Your aim just needs tweaked a little more and then I would be comfortable," König stated, gently patting me on the back. I gave him a toothy smile, pulling myself off the muddy ground. It had finally began snowing, which sent us on our way back to base for the rest of the day. We made our way into the rec room, Soap relaxing on the couch.
"Where have you two been?" He inquired, looking at the snow slowly melting off of me.
"Practicing for the mission," I responded, asking him if he wanted anything and grabbing myself a water.
"You never spend time with me," He pouted, taking a water from my hands. I laughed rolling eyes.
"Oh poor big baby. We'll hangout tomorrow, alright?" I mocked him, pouting my bottom lip.
"Why not tonight?" He winked. I heard König shift forward, his eyes locked on Soap. I noticed the harsh stare between them, but decided it was better I didn't get caught up in their mess.
"And you mean?" I asked, lifting an eyebrow.
"Don't play dumb, Y/n. You could sleep in my arms, my bed-"
"McTavish." König warned, his voice lowering a couple octaves. Soap cockily laughed.
"What? It's not like you even like her. Besides, what's wrong with a women in a man's bed?" He taunted, earning an angry grunt of König. I felt a little pang in my chest. It's not like you even like her. Immediately König yelled at him in German, causing a slight ruckus in the room.
"Okay, König, come here. Soap, you know you're not getting me in your bed. Ever. Go talk to Ghost," I ordered, hearing him sigh behind me and walking away. König harshly glared at him as he left the room, only relaxing once his eyes rested on me. I looks into his eyes, unable to hold eye contact. He doesn't even like me. I sighed, stepping away.
"Did I scare you?" His voice was weak, almost like he was going to cry. I looked back at him, concern filling his eyes.
"No, no not at all. Just..." I paused, debating on how honest to be. He hummed, stepping toward me, wanting me to continue.
"D-do you even like me?" I whispered, turning my cheek. I couldn't bear to make eye contact. Why did I even care about his answer? I mean, yeah he's taken care of me, and treated me kindly, but it's not like he's required to be interested in me. I'm just part of his job. I swallowed harshly, listening to him fumble over his own words.
"In what sense?" He asked sheepishly.
"As a friend, or?"
"..."
"I know dealing with me is your job and-"
"I like you. More than a friend," He whispered. I gasped, my heart fluttering in my chest. I turned my head to him, immediately making eye contact with him.
"You know what you said. What it means?" I asked, unable to believe him. He shyly nodded, rubbing the back of his neck. I couldn't think of what to say, my mind running as I stood there stuttering.
"My room?" He murmured, anxiously looking down.
"Yeah," I spoke breathlessly, following him to his room. He let me in first, closing the door behind us. I sat myself down on his bed, feeling it dramatically sink next to me. I looked up at him, his face obviously red through his sniper hood. I felt his hand against my cheeks gently.
