Once again, I'm dreaming.
I know I'm dreaming because I'm back in the dark void I was in before.
I didn't care though.
I stood up and walked around, searching for him.

"Where are you?" I call out. I stop in my tracks and listen to the sound of his voice.

He laughs.

"Welcome back, Yuki." Muzan says. "What are you doing now?"

"How far are you from catching me?" I ask, my voice trembling.

Muzan gives me a smirk.

"Not that far. I will find you, soon. And if I can't, I'll be very disappointed, Yuki."

"No. You wont find me. You never will." I respond. He dashes towards me and grabs me by my wrists. I winced but I didn't say a word. The blood started to appear and tickle down my arm.

"Yes. I will find you." He spoke. "And I won't let you out of my sight again."

. . .

I jolted awake and fear filled my chest. I checked my wrists. Are these nightmares going to really become a daily routine? No blood. No Muzan. Nothing. I sighed of relief. A knock came from my door. I looked up.
Tanjiro.

"You okay?" He asks. It's been a year since we've been training, Tanjiro's hair has been growing lately and my hair has been growing as well.

"Yes. I'm okay." I said, I stood up and looked over at him. "I'm gonna get changed."

He nods and closes the door. I pick up my clothing from the other night and put it on. Lately, I've been wearing the same clothing. Even though I packed other clothes, I used my old clothes for training. Today was going to be another day of training. Great. I thought. I put on my shoes and followed Tanjiro outside.

We arrived and looked around. A boulder stood in front of us.

"What the..?" I asked. I touched the boulder, it was hard and sturdy.

"Good. You two made it." Urokodaki said. I turned around and saw him, I smiled.

"For today's training," he explained. "You will need to cut this boulder."

My eyes widened and Tanjiro had the same shocked expression. Urokodaki then began walking away.

"How?!" I called out. He ignored me and kept walking. Tanjiro heavily sighed and gripped onto his sword. He raised it towards the air and pointed it to the boulder, then, hit it as hard as he could. It didn't crack.

I took a turn next and hit the boulder as hard as I could. It didn't crack. I groaned and turned to Tanjiro.

"How are we supposed to do this?" I asked. Tanjiro just shook his head.

"I don't know." He replied. "Maybe.. we can try again tomorrow or.. I don't know."

I raised an eyebrow. "Everything okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's just.." he trails off. "We've come so far but now I just feel like we should give up—"

"WHAT?!" I yelled. I lowered my voice. "We can't give up, not yet! Come on!"

I grabbed onto his arm and tugged him. He pulled away, but he smiled.

"Alright, then." He said. "I guess we'll try."

We tried as hard as we could, but nothing worked. It was getting late so we headed back home. I flopped onto my bed and groaned. This is so much harder than I thought. I thought. Why am I even doing this? Should I really be training to be a demon slayer? I suddenly felt tears in my eyes. I groaned and wiped my tears. I tossed and turned until soon fell asleep.
