( PART 2 )
(Siasi Train station: Block A-2)Two railways had been built for the train station because of tourists visiting the provincial island either as a hobby or for a vacation, Siasi island had always been a good spot for the holidays. And since the month of November had already stopped by, many guests from big cities started to book some earliest rides for Christmas.
Jay had been sitting at the bench for quite some time. He'd glance back and forth at the wrist watch he wore in order to keep track of time for the train's stop.
Behind him were snack bar machines and some water dispenser. Few people comes and goes after getting off the train they'd ridden. It was already past 7 and the last ride should've already descended by now, yet the there wasn't still any sight of the vehicle.
Anyone would be blaming the rain as of this moment.
Two roars of the train's horn emerges within the tunnel, hence, the vehicle finally showing itself. The ride deemed to be a bullet train that had blueish color on it, contrasting with white. The headlights made Jay squint his eyelids to prevent any possible way of having blinded eyes. Within a few minutes the train had already stopped from moving forward, slowly bobbing back when it came to a halt.
The doors opened itself once already done checking. Wave of people poured outside the train, these people popping out their respective umbrellas one by one. They looked like ants slowly scattering towards the exits.
Jay being short in height only stood a bit far away from them knowing what'll happen to him eventually when he gets stomped over by that many crowd. December were still weeks and weeks away yet there was already this many people visiting the island for an early Christmas.
"How are you."
A question.
Jay wasn't very sure what to say when he laid eyes on the girl that came out of the doors, holding her stroller near her. She looked like nothing from the past as Jay remembered. The upper part of the girl's hijab* cascaded shadows over her face causing a slight sharp glow of copper to golden color in her very own pupils. She looked as if the world had dawned on her for whatever painful reason.

'Ah, what had happened to you?'
Rai fixated her gaze on the shorty man in front of her. Maybe it was because she left the island for such a long time that meeting the people whom had been close to her since she was small, felt distant and strange.
Words seemed stuck in her throat for quite awhile now, but Rai managed to guve a nervous smile. It wasn't the most genuine but at least it was something.
"Hello... Jay." Rai said.
Jay smiled back, placing his own hands within his pockets. "Let's go home?" He asked.
Was that even a suggestion?
Well it was getting awkward and Jay wouldn't want to waste their time freezing out from the cold.
Rai couldn't have agreed more so they both deicided to get a cab and drive home.
For an hour during the quiet drive none of the two people had ever spoken a word. The only ever response that Jay would get were the nods and 'yes' from Rai. She wouldn't even dare look towards Jay's way as if she had viewed him as the most ugliest guy she had ever seen.
Of course Jay expected this to happen.
The things that happened in the past was something none of them both could ever just disperse, it was something they couldn't treat as 'normalcy', everyone have had a hard time from that specific event and Rai was the most affected person amongst them.
