S2: CHAPTER 29

( COSMOS organization: meeting room )

Angin's power watch is displayed in the middle of a round table, the background in graphic style with information showcasing on it. Holographic screen's of the same style which is shown in the table appeared there yet somehow all of the data gathered from the watch did not give any slight answer to every question plastered on the board, that're connected with line of dots.

Jay sighed massaging the bridge of his nose. He's been stuck in this room for almost a whole day straight yet he got nothing out of the ordinary. At this rate there's nothing that could be of lead in finding Rai with Astrobot.

The entrance door smoothly slides sideways showing Naz holding a tray of snacks and a hot cocoa.

"Got anything?" She asked with a smile. The girl strolled over to Jay's way and then placed the tray near him.

Jay shrugged gesturing the air in front of him. "Nope."

"It's as if this THING is very secured." He added with a click of a tongue.

Jay. "Thanks for letting me stay here though."

"Well.. it's better than you being found out using the control room in the morning. I'm the only one mostly left during late night shifts anyways, but i still have to warn you about not letting anyone know you've sneaked into COSMOS while still on suspension."

She warned the boy informing him his punishment.

Jay smiled nervously. "I will."

Naz placed her forefinger and thumb under her chin, "Nothing else aside the message you've seen?" She uttered.

Jay nodded typing onto the panel and showing the footage.

There wasn't anything else aside the message saved in Angin's power watch. The word's such as 'TAPOPS' comes out the figure in the hologram's mouth. Everything was confusing and Jay had not come to any conclusion in the moment.

Naz noticed the male's stressed expression but she couldn't do anything about it. She too feels the same as Jay and probably guessed she was like this when losing information about her brother's whereabouts.

A silly thought came into her mind.

"Jay.." the girl called in a whisper.

The ravenette turned to her, hearing his name and the subtle waver in her voice. Purplish eyes wandered over the lady's expression wherein Naz's eyebrows knitted together and her lips pursed so hard it subtly turned red.

Naz whimpered. "What if.. Ark was also been taken away by the celestial storm?"

"What?" Jay blinked, he propped himself to sit straight on the chair.

"Think about it, maybe he didn't ran away. Maybe after the fight he might've encountered the storm and was.. taken by it."

The explanation seemed to be a possible but parts of it doesn't add up.

Such as..

"According to General Harris, the celestial storm only appears to frequently consume massive amount of power in the environment that has anything to do with cosmic energy. Hence it's highly seeking power sources base on that..

Taufan.. i mean Angin or whoever he is got taken because of it, alongside Astrobot and Rai just happens to be there. Your brother doesn't have any power that has anything to do with elemental energy. So i doubt he was taken away."

Naz huffed with an unsure look. What Jay said were right but there's no telling it's likely to be true, she just has this feeling that the storm has got to do something with Arkan's disappearance.
