( ZamCity: Junkyard )It's still early in the morning overly on 5 am. People around these parts usually doesn't wake up until 7 o'clock, but those who have work, especially in a junkyard area had to get up by 2 am.
It's a rule that comes by for those who works here. Since there's lots of old furnitures and broken car's to fix.
Iris stopped just halfway through the gateway slightly shivering from the cold temperature. Her hands were within her pockets, the jacket she wore keeping her from getting cold.
Al, her brother, was behind. Whimpering from the freezing cold causing him to sniffle.
"Sis.. a-are you sure t-this is the right p-p-place?" he whined.
Iris nods in response. "It's the last pinpoint where Jay's location had been in."
Just yesterday Iris alongside her brother were ordered by General Harris to find Jay's whereabouts, in silence. The man whom is worried for the boy's well-being decided to leave a spy in Jay's tail in case something would happen.
But just as Iris had monitored Jay's movements, his presence disappeared in the GPS and the Junkyard was the last place for them to look into. They hold no other clue as to why Jay was here in a shabby place, such as the junkyard, but she believed it's something that has got to do with his past behaviours he'd been showing.
They sought through the place, slightly hearing cranes towing broken cars. A shuffle from over the left made them stop at their tracks, Iris whom was the most exposed to combats slowly grabbed her weapon strapped on her belt.
"What're you both doing here?"
Asked an unrecognisable voice. Hollow and crusty but clear enough within one's ears.
Ebony colored hair softly appears from the two guests eyes. Their locks almost wavy and looked soft despite the dirtiness smudged over their face and clothing, all the way up and down. The boy were around Jay's age with coral black pupils glinting under the yellow hue light from a bulb, hanged over the roof.
The top clothes looked ragged in stripes then a jumper for the bottom. Their shoes didn't look new, instead it has little bits of cement attached to the sides.
Some goggles over the boy's head and dirty brown colored gloves.
Iris blinked a bit surprised. Somehow the boy gave off a vibe that's similar to Jay, in a way, yet this guy held an unreadable expression.
And.. taller.
Al had been hiding behind his sister's back, whimpering in nervousness.
"I asked why are you both here." The boy demands.
His patience were running out for goodness sake.
"A-ah, we're actually looking for a Boy.. about this height?" Iris measured, just around her ears.
"His name is Jay and he has purple eyes. Do you know where he is?" she asked again.
"..."
"You're from COSMOS too?" the boy questions, pointing to the two siblings with his hand over his hip.
Al peeked. "How did you.." he trailed off.
The person pointed over their COSMOS badge on Iris's left chest. Something that obvious will always be noticed no matter how hard someone would say it's just an accessory.
"Ahhh.. right." Al mumbled with a slight awkward laugh.
The ebony haired male shrugged, removing the dirty gloves he's wearing and gently throwing it over an old couch with strings protruding out the cushions.
