Strong wind had blew almost branches of trees away and the leaves that's plucked on the ground. Rocks tumbled backwards, hitting the trunks and the boulders that are in their original spot.
The sky had already darkened, lightning strikes down from the clouds alongside the sound and echoes of the thunder above.
A humongous form of cyclone had appeared just few kilometres away from the floating islands. The intensity of the storm even manages to rock smaller islands back and forth leading to one of them colliding. It's a sight to behold, the tornado moving fast that even a tree would break if one gets caught up in it.
Section-A and Section-E stood by, watching the storm from their place as they hid in between rocks below the island. It was a better place for them to hold onto, with the roots sprouting outside the ground serving as a buckle.
Jay peeked down from where he stood, dangling from the roots of the floating island. Waves crashing onto one another below, the water that was clear in the morning now had become a battlefield. Because of the tornado's torrent, it seemingly led the water to become violent, not to mention that something from within these waters lurked.
Awaken from it's slumber due the storm.
The wind picked up, blowing everyone's hair in every which way. They had to wear goggles to prevent their eyes from getting hit by smaller particles.
"JAY! THE STORM IS GETTING CLOSER. 30 MINUTES AS OF NOW!" shouted Zen whose looking through his tab.
It holds data about the weather, the male made this way before the mission could even start as a backup measure.
Jay nodded, giving a thumbs up towards his teammate. He placed two fingers over the earpiece he wore, knowing that everyone's listening to his voice at the moment.
"Everyone listen to me, the plan is to get the device inside the storm. But since this is a dangerous play I'm deciding to pick one person for volunteer."
He explains through the intercom.
Everyone looks at each other hearing this. Jay waited for any one to go but none had replied back.
Figures.
"Me!" Answered Kuma over the earpiece.
"No." Jay prohibited. It was dangerous and Kuma isn't experienced enough when in mid air. Her combat style did not hold any of that.
Kuma furrowed her eyebrows and then looks over to where Jay's location is. Confused why the male would not want her to be doing it. She was offended to be honest.
"I'll go." It was Iris, from Section-A unit. Her voice sounded firm over the intercom, ready to take the risks.
Jay. "Are you sure?" He questions.
"Are you?" Asked the female getting ready for the plan. Tightening her gloves and wearing her goggles.
"You shouldn't answer a question with a question." The ravenette replied whom also started to prepare.
"20 MINUTES!!" Zen shouted.
"Let's do this." Uttered Jay whom held a cube on his hand.
The said device turned into a hoverboard (same as those that Admiral Tarung used) wherein in this world has one too. It morphed and changed forms, the hovercraft automatically generated to fit any environmental atmospheric pressure.
