scrouge: DON'T STAND THERE GET HIM!!
at that very second they all rode there horses as sonic ran off taunting them more as he went off without realizing they was leaving only scrouge there with the three
shadow had his chance and tackled scrouge down to the ground and aim his gun at his head telling him too surrender while rouge and silver tied him up
scrouge: GET OFF AND LET ME OR I'LL KILL YOU THE WORST WAY POSSBILE!
shadow: no as sheriff of mobius you are here by under arrest for the crime of numerus bank robberies and murders scrouge hedgehog
scrouge: TSK... YOU THINK I WON'T GET OUT YOU HAVE ANOTHER THING..MMMHMMM!
shadow had enough hearing his mouth and decided to gag him with scrouges own bandanna as he waited for the two to finish tying him up and pull him to shadow horse to take him to the towns jail to be judge for his crimes along with the few of scrouges gang members that was knock out on the ground after being squished by there own horses.

shadow has just lock the cell after pushing scrouge in there as the green hedgehog spat out insults to shadow when he grab onto the bars demanding to be let out
shadow: pfff....you are going to pay for your crimes for evreything you done with your life after i find the rest of your gang that was chasing that kid
scrouge: FUCK YOU IF IT WEREN'T FOR THAT BRAT YOU WOULD OF BEEN DEAD ON THE GROUND BY NOW FUCKER!
shadow: shut it when i get back your coming with me to mobius to be judge for your crimes and most likely sentence to death along with your gang so don't think about escaping
shadow ignored his insults as he walk away telling the local sheriff to keep an eye on him till he got back and then told rouge and silver to get ready to find the rest of them that went after sonic then rode off
silver: i hope the kids ok there must of been 20 on his tail
rouge: don't worry we will but we better hurry and find them as soon as we can
shadow had to agree and rode there horses to the direction that sonic ran too when they went after them and heard a commotion up ahead that was surrounded by pine trees and endless forest but to there surprise they look up in one tree and saw at least 5 of the gang members in a hand made net made with rope begging the three to get them down till they shadow face they soon turn the begging into insults.
'help get us down.....wait it's that sheriff'
'you fucking asshole where's are boss what did you do to him'
shadow could only laugh in there face as he ask them out of curiosity how they got up there
'that fucking brat trick up again by trapping us up here...NOW WHERES ARE BOSS BASTARD!'
shadow told rouge and silver to get them down but drag them back while there in the net in a jail cell in town while he went ahead to look for sonic and the others

about 10 minutes later after riding his horse in the forest shadow found at least 5 more of the gang members laying on the ground completely out cold with fat lips and bruises so he stop and tie them up to near by tree to get them later and press on where he heard a couple of gun shots
shadow: shit the kid
shadow though to himself as he rush back on his horse and rode as fast as possible to where he heard the gun shots then stop as he heard voices then got off his horse and took cover behind a tree
'where are you brat come out so we can kill you'
'yea your tricks won't work on us this time'
said the two gang members that had there guns out looking around for any sign of the kid and with shadow about to take aim on the two he suddenly saw something blue move in the tree that was above the two then the next thing he saw was the kid jumping down on both gang members making them fall to the ground.
they both moan and grown in pain as they sat up and sonic then kick there guns away and ran around them with a long rope in his hands and tie them both up
'HEY WHAT JUST HAPPENED'
said one of them with sonic only chuckling as he was about to walk away but another gang member jump out from the bushes and aim his gun at the teen who stop as he was told to frezze and look at the two of his friends and got angry
'boss wanted you alive but after what you just did i think i will have to kill you'
the gang member was about to pull the trigger but shadow suddenly shouted
'KID DUCK NOW'
sonic did that very moment giving shadow the chance and shot the gang member in the shoulder collapsing on the ground after
shadow rush to sonic and saw that he had a few scraps and cuts but other than that he was fine
shadow: you cocky punk why did you get them to chase you...YOU COULD OF BEEN KILLED!
sonic just waved his arms and decided to give the sheriff attitude after yelling at him
sonic: wow at least thank me for saving you before you go nuts and yell at me like that sheriff
sonic just gave shadow a smirk as shadow facepalm himself from how sonic wasn't fazed from nearly cheating death and went to the gang member he shot and cuff him and pulling him up
shadow: hey kid while your here can you give me a hand bring these guys back to town with me
sonic just sulk at shadow and cross his arms as shadow waited for an answer but shadow wasn't in the mood for sonic attitude at the moment
shadow: WELL!
sonic: oh I'll help but you forgot your manners sheriff there's a word i like to hear first
shadow: SERIOUSLY!....(sigh)....fine 'please'
sonic: that's more like it now...(whistled)
sonic soon smiled as he heard the word please and whistled for sugar that came out from the bushes and help shadow bring the three gang members that was bound back to town

after bringing the three to a cell they both saw rouge and silver and shadow told them to get the five others he tie to a tree and bring them as sonic was about to leave them but shadow stop him from riding off with sugar saying that he wanted to speck with him.
sonic didn't like the idea of staying with shadow but reluctantly shadow said that he would cuff him if he had too so sonic stay with him till the other two came back with the other criminals and went back out in the forest as shadow knew that he still had to find remaining gang members that was on the run.
