they all followed the teen running that was shooting at him trying to aim at his legs but sonic was running to fast for them to even get a hit as the local that was on the street ran for there lives into the buildings to take cover.
he lead them far away enough for tails to poke his head out but soon took cover when scrouge started walking to his shop.
scrouge: FUCKING IDIOTS I'LL GET HIM MYSELF!
scrouge storm over where sugar was and grab her rein with sugar trying to pull away but the dominate male hedgehog pull her back and demanded her to cooperate and she did.
he then jump on her saddle and went after them with his gang giving tails the chance to step out and run to the sheriffs office where he heard constant banging and and metals being hit as he step in where the cells where all out of breath as shadow rouge and silver saw the two tails fox.
tails: hu..hu....I'm here to...hu...get you out
shadow: hey kid one of scrouge boys took the keys you'll have to find a spare one around here quickly
tails turn around as he heard a loud clicking of a clock and jump in fright as he saw it was a bomb
tails: what the....WHY ON MOBIUS IS THERE A BOMB HERE!
shadow: never mind that right now can you get us out or not
tails look at the lock on the cell and though it would be a waste of time looking around for a possible spare key and said to the three
tails: it would be quicker for me to lock pick it so I'll be back just sit tight
tails ran back to his shop to grab his box of tools hoping he would be able to save them all on time

sonic ran as far as he could trying to avoid all the bullets that was going passed him however as he was concentrating on what's in front of him he suddenly then felt something hit his leg knocking him to the ground only to look back as he groan in pain and saw a burnt rip at the side of his pants on the lower half of his left leg.
he look back and quickly got back up as he saw the gang was closing in on him but he couldn't run at his full speed due to the injury he just got but before he knew it he saw sugar go straight pass him with scrouge on her saddle pulling her rein up making her stop in front of the teen as he fell to the ground.
scrouge: NO CHANCE OF RUNNING THIS TIME KID!
said scrouge as his gang ran behind sonic and aim the gun at him giving sonic no choice but to raise his hands in the air to surrender
scrouge told his boys to tie the kid up and bring to him and they did what they were told with sonic not fighting against them as the others was still pointing there guns just in case he tried and was then lifted off the ground and pulled to where scrouge and sugar was.
scrouge then grab the teen and lifted him on sugar laying him across his stomach on her back as he was sitting behind him holding him down and keeping him there
sonic: LET GO AND UNTIE ME YOU OLD GREEN HEADED GEZZER!
scrouge: quiet kid we don't have enough time to introduce are self right now.....BOYS FIND ANY HORSE YOU CAN GET AND LET'S GET MOVING BEFORE WE BLOW UP ALONG WITH THIS TOWN!
sonic: huh blow up HEY WHAT DID YOU!
scrouge stop sonic from talking as he speeded off along with his gang that were trying to find some horse's along the way

shadow: are you nearly done kid!
shadow said in a angry and inpatient tone as tails twisted the lockpick into the lock of the cell
tails: almost just a little longer....wait what that sound outside
shadow was demanding that tails forget the noise and worry about the lock while silver and rouge look out the small hole in the wall with bars and saw scrouge and his gang on horses with sonic laying over his horse sugar tie up with scrouge holding down as they went pass.
silver: oh no this is bad!
rouge: sonic!
shadow: what about sonic is he there?
silver: scrouge has got him along with his horse sugar and is riding out of town
shadow fear has came true as he turn to tails who also look concerned for the teen and ask him to hurry
tails: right i just need to do this and.....(click) there it's open
tails open the cell door and shadow was about to chase after scrouge but remembered the bomb that was ticking as tails went to it and try to find a way to stop it
tails: dang we need to save the town before the place blows!
shadow wanted to desperately stop scrouges gang as they rode off with the captured teen but knew he couldn't leave the town to blow and made the gut ranching dissection to help tails and ask tails what did he need them to do.
tails: if what scrouge said to you is true then you guys need to find the other TNT and snip the wires just in case it dose go off while i try and stop the timer
shadow: fine rouge silver get a pair of plyers and let's get going we only got 15 minutes left so hurry
silver and rouge: right!
all three took a pair of plyers out of tails tool box and ran to each building looking for a wire that would lead to the TNT and cut them while tails inspected the timer and found that there was a few wires but found the one that was connected to the timer and the TNT in the sheriff office and wait till the last minute giving the other three a chance to disarm the rest before time runs out.
