Mikey jumped up and down all around the lair, not attempting to calm down anytime soon. "Grand! Opening! DAYYY!!!"

It was the perfect weather to go eat out, sunny and warm. Leo was already up as well, getting ready in his room. "Hmmm..." He picked up two masks.

"I don't know whether I should wear the blue one or the blue one, both are so fitting for my aesthetic-"

Mikey busted through the door and began bouncing around. "Come on, Leo! Let's go!"
"OKAYY I WILL! But first, help me choose." He held the identical masks in front of his brother's face. "Which one should I wear? I wanna make a good first impression."

Mikey deadpanned and pointed to the one on the right. "Uh that one really brings out your personality...?" Leo smiled and put it on. "I thought so, thanks!" Donnie stood outside of his room with a disappointed look on his face. "That was so stupid."

"Jealous much?" Leo whispered to Mikey. Donnie started to walk away. "Please."

-AT HUESO'S-

Yuichi tied his ears back as best as he could, feeling slightly uncomfortable in his uniform and neck tie. 'If Auntie could see me now...'

He stood in the back of the kitchen and tried to stay out of the other waiters' way. Being new, he liked to watch and learn from others who'd had this experience before. "Usagi!" Someone shouted. He turned his head to the voice and saw an older man gesturing towards him. "The restaurant opens in 2 minutes. I want you to be on alert and be ready when I call you to serve a table, alright?"

The rabbit boy smiled and nodded, excited all of a sudden. He'd prove his Aunt wrong, that he could handle this new job as good as anyone else. Tightening the belt around his apron, the huge place began to fill in with people. "No pressure, everyone!" He yelled to the more experienced workers. They shot him confused looks, clearly doing just fine. Usagi smiled nervously. "Just me? Yeah..."

In just minutes the restaurant filled in more and got louder, footsteps pounding on the marble floors. His ears perked up and flinched at every sound, but he loved the action. All the years of working on the quiet, boring farm couldn't prepare him for this moment.

So many colorful and delightful families took their seats, smiles on their faces. Usagi took a deep breath and smiled, feeling his nose twitch in anticipation. The same employee from earlier tapped him on the shoulder. "You're up, newbie. See that table with the chandelier right over it?"

He nodded and picked a pen and notebook, shifting his belt once more. "Break a leg!" The guy said. Usagi tilted his head to the side. "Well that's mean..." The man sighed and shook his head. "No kid, it means do a good job."

"Oohhh!" The boy smiled and thanked him, walking over to his first table. "Hello and welcome to Hueso's! My name is Yuichi Usagi and I'll happily be your server for today! Drinks-?"

He looked up and noticed that they were a family of mutant turtles, with a rat man at the head of the table. One of them stared intensely at him, he had a blue mask on. Usagi felt his breath hitch and cleared his throat. "W-what would you all like to start off with?"

Donnie held up his hand. "A couple of questions. Is your apple juice organic, do you guys play any 80's music and is your security system up to date if there were to be any break ins during or after the restaurant is open?"

Yuichi thought for a moment. "Uhh all I know is that all of our juice is organic and we do play 80's music, as well as 70's. ABBA, especially." Donnie lit up and shrugged. "Hm. I approve. I'll take a flavorless juice, please!"

"Uhhh do you mean water, or...?"

"Yes, he'll take a water!" Raph said, chuckling nervously. He gave him a look that said, 'You know no one knows what that is, so don't be petty'.

"You?" He gestured towards the blue one after writing everyone's drinks down. He was currently giving his full attention to the rabbit boy, still staring. Yuichi blushed and smiled shyly, feeling strangely wonderful at the moment. "Sir? W-what would you like?"

Leo snapped out of his thoughts. "O-oh, lemonade!"

"Cool! I'll be right back with your drinks, everyone!" Usagi walked away, panicking. 'What was that???!!'

Meanwhile Leo was smiling like an idiot. "Did you see the way he looked at me? I must've made a fool out of myself!" Donnie scowled in disgust. "Then why are you smiling like that?"

"Because he was sooo prettyyy~" Leo said, resting his chin in his hand. Raph smiled and looked over at his dad. "Did you see that, Dad-?" Splinter was currently dozed off in his seat, snoring.

Usagi started filling up their cups and set them on a tray one by one. 'Just breathe, he was just being polite...' He picked up the tray and was getting ready to walk back to their table when his ears twitched at a certain noise. 'What...?'

It was a voice right outside of a window near the kitchen. It was muffled so all he heard was, "...Brand new loot!...down their cameras..."

He'd hear better if his ears weren't tied, but it was enough. Usagi raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Our cameras? What are they up to?" Before he had the chance to question anything else, he heard a crash from another window far away. 'Oh no...'
