Usagi picked up shards of glass and broken wood from the floor, shaking his head in frustration. "I'll never see New York again..." He mumbled. He felt someone tap on his shoulder and he turned to see Leo standing over him. "Need some help?"

"Oh no, I've got it. This is my job, anyways!" He swept up the remaining debris into a dust pan and threw it away. Leo cleared his throat and stood at his side. "So...Usagi..."

He looked up and smiled. "Hi!" Leo smiled back nervously. "You uh, got a place to stay tonight?"

Usagi shook his head. "Nah, I got kicked out of the hotel I was staying at last night. I got into a little bit of a fight with my neighbor when he thought I was his cat. Long story, but why do you ask?"
Leo cleared his throat again and shrugged. "Well, I wanted to invite you over to our place for some pizza and maybe spend the night, but only if you wanted to! I completely understand if Donnie grossed you out, he does it all the time-!"

The rabbit giggled and covered his smile. "No, he didn't. If it's alright with everyone, I'd love to!"

"...Excuse me for just one second..." Leo turned around and did an aggressive victory dance. He took a deep breath and turned back to Usagi calmly. "I'm sure that would make my brothers very happy." Usagi nodded. "Okay, I'll get my stuff!"

He walked away to go grab his things, Leo walked back to his brothers. "Guess who has a blue mask and just invited pretty boy to our lair?~"

Donnie frowned. "You didn't..." Mikey gasped and clapped excitedly. "He did!!!"

Leo smirked and flipped his mask tails dramatically. "Don't be jealous that I've got a new friend, Donnie. I'm sure he'd love to hear you info dump for 2 hours!" Donnie raised his "eyebrows" in confusion. "Wait, friend? I thought you had a crush on the waiter."

Leo's eyes widened. "No, he's just super cute and funny and nice and he makes me smile, all the qualities of a good friend! Right?"

Mikey winced and patted him on the shoulder. "Oh buddy..."

Usagi leaned his sword up against the wall, his mouth wide open. "You guys live...here?" Raph came up behind him. "Yeah! Pretty cool, right?"

He turned around with wide eyes. "Pretty cool? This is the best place I've ever seen!!" Usagi couldn't help but scramble around the place, marveling at Donnie's lab and screaming when he saw multiple boxes of pizza.

Leo smiled and picked one up. "Hot and fresh, grab a slice!"

Usagi tilted his head to the side. "Grab a slice?"

"Yeah, like this!" Leo picked up one of the triangle pieces and showed it to him. "Pepperoni! Try some!" He sniffed it before shoving the whole thing in his mouth. His eyes widened again. "WOAHHH! I've only served pizza!"

Mikey grabbed his arm. "Come to my room, I wanna draw you!" Usagi smiled and followed him eagerly. Leo watched them walk away with a smile on his face.

'The guys really like him, huh...?'

"So, this is your room? I love it!" Yuichi stood at the doorway, taking his shoes off before entering. "Thanks! You can sit on the bed while I draw!" He nodded and sat down. "Should I take my ears down or no?"

Mikey nodded and pulled out his notebook and pencil. "Only if you want!"

Usagi pulled the hair-tie off his ears and let them fall down, sighing with relief. "So, where are you from?" Mikey asked.

"A small farm in the countryside. It was mostly just me and my Auntie." He replied, stroking the loose fur on his head. Mikey hummed in interest, deciding it would be wiser not to ask where his parents were. "I heard you telling Leo earlier that you wanted to get away from your Auntie. Why? If you don't mind me asking."

Usagi sighed. "Ohh well, I just don't seem to be of help to her like she wants me to be. I thought if I got away to somewhere and showed her I can be mature, I wouldn't disappoint her as much." He looked down at the floor. "But I guess that adventure was short lived, because she told me I have to come home if something bad happened. So yeah..."

The turtle looked at him with sympathy, lowering his moving pencil. "But that wasn't your fault, was it? I'm sure she'd understand, especially since you saved the day!"

The rabbit boy covered his smile shyly. "I only helped, but thank you, Mikey."

"Hey, what is that?" Mikey asked, pointing to a symbol on Usagi's shirt. He frowned and tapped it. "Nothing. Nothing important..."
