The Yokai swung one of its arms at Leo to knock him down, but he jumped over it, just barely dodging it. "Oh come on, are you playing with me right now? Put some oomph into it!"

Usagi smirked and ran up the arm of the Yokai, but it reached around and grabbed him. "Hey, put him down!" Leo threw his sword straight in between the eyes, making the monster stumble backward for a moment. The turtle saw an opportunity and activated the other sword in his hand, teleporting in front of the Yokai's face. "What is this thing? A mutant?"

"Nah, yokai's are born like this!" Usagi attempted to squirm out of the monster's grasp before it pulled him close, examining him. "You're not Miyamoto Usagi...!"

"I'm his descendant!" Usagi replied. Leo's eyes widened in surprise. "Why are you making small talk with this thing and not killing it??!"

The yokai threw them both down. "Then you are a waste of my attention and time! The only thing I need focus on is to complete my mission... My soul oath!"

He walked down the opposite way down the tunnels, taking its leave. Leo was about to go after it when the rabbit boy stopped him. "I wouldn't do that, you have no idea what that thing could do to you!"

"Oh yeah? Well, what about what that thing was about to do to you? He knows who you are now, you could've lied about being related to the person he's looking for!"

Usagi sighed and sat up, putting his sword back into place. "Miyamoto Usagi was a great hero, and I will never deny being his descendant. I look up to him every day!"

"Actually, according to my research, Miyamoto Usagi was depicted at the villain in almost every story in history he's taken a part in." Donnie said, leaning at the doorway. Leo and Usagi jumped and looked at him in surprise. "How long have you just been...standing there?"

"Oh, not too long. I've mastered the ability of standing so incredibly still that I become invisible to the eye."

Leo glanced at Usagi. "I thought you said he was a hero?"
The boy nodded confidently. "A-and he is! But for some reason people call him a traitor, and they say he did horrible things to innocent people. But I'm gonna prove it to everyone that they're wrong about him! That's why I came to New York, because I wanted to keep my family safe while the Yokai and police were after me."

He sighed and pointed to the family symbol on his shirt. "This is what I'm being followed for. I recognized a symbol somewhere around the lair, the Hamato family one. You guys have been my ancestors' allies for generations!

Donnie and Leo looked at each other. "If what you're saying is true, then..."

Usagi nodded. "Yeah. You guys could be targeted, too."
Donnie furrowed his brows and walked up to him. "Even though it didn't quite help our case with you coming here in the first place... Our families were friends. Which makes us friends, too."

"And us, too!" Mikey exclaimed, standing next to Raphael. "Don't worry about your little problem, Usagi. We'll help you!"

Usagi gasped loudly. "Are we gonna hug? I think we're about to hug-"

"YES!"

"NO-"
