Saturn
• • •Ever since Calvin's hand had fallen upon my thigh during first period, I couldn't shake the feeling that he was messing with me.
It did not make sense for a boy like Calvin to like a girl like me, that much I knew. So, could it be possible that he was playing me? Perhaps. But did I really care? Nope. What a fun game this was to play.
I went directly to Calvin's room after Poetry. I wondered if he actually wanted to study tonight. Perhaps he wanted to kiss me again. I hoped he did. I couldn't admit to him how much I'd enjoyed the feeling of his hand on my thigh earlier in class, but it had been a moment like no other. He made me feel relaxed and exhilarated all at once.
Knock, knock, knock. My fist drummed against his door. When there was no response, I welcomed myself in. Neither Tom nor Darius were there to greet me this time, so I proceeded straight to Calvin's room.
"Calvin?" I called, knocking just once this time.
"Come in, love."
My heart skipped a beat.
Calvin was shirtless again. The rest of him was buried beneath his grey sheets. I wanted to take a picture of him to admire later on. Still, the image was frozen in my mind for good.
"Afternoon," Calvin murmured. It was never hello with Calvin. Always "morning", "afternoon", or "evening". His politeness was alluring.
"Hi," I said softly, hesitating at the edge of his bed.
"Come sit down," He requested, "make yourself at home."
I set my bag down on the floor and joined Calvin in the bed. He looked upset that I'd chosen a spot across from him rather than next to him. I wasn't sure if my body could handle another thigh touching incident just yet. I may have combusted with attraction if he tried anything like that again.
"Are you still afraid of me, after all this time?"
I forced myself to look at him. "I was never afraid of you," I argued.
He smirked, catching onto my falsehood. "You're a dreadful liar."
I crossed my arms over my chest, feeling insecure all of a sudden, a foreign feeling to me.Calvin leaned forward, exposing the fact that he was indeed wearing pants beneath the sheets. "Take a breath, Saturn," he murmured, "I don't bite."
I wasn't so sure of that. Although my vampire theory had recently been disproved, I was not sure that he might not bite me given the opportunity. Before, I had wondered if he even wanted to kiss me again. Instead, it was becoming clear that he wished to do much more.
"You look unreal today," Calvin said softly, admiring me as usual, "did I mention?"
I shook my head, feeling timid beneath his powerful gaze.
"You don't agree?" he mused.
"I don't know," I shrugged, not knowing how to answer him. I had never given my appearance much attention in the past.
Calvin's eyes were narrowed as he pondered my lack of enthusiasm. "You perplex me."
"I tend to have that effect on people," I replied.
Calvin chuckled lightly. "Let me ask you something," he began, "do you have feelings for me?"
"What do you mean by feelings?" I asked.
"Do you really like me Saturn?" Calvin clarified, "do your thoughts of me keep you up at night? Do you dream of me kissing you? Do you fantasise of more?"
I felt my cheeks grow warm. I nodded.
"Good," Calvin cooed, his tone liquifying. He knew how naive I was, and he was going to help me grow. If only I had known.
I took a sharp breath. "You didn't ask me to come here tonight to study, did you?"
Calvin grinned. "Why else would I do such a thing, Saturn?"
I shuddered. He was playing with me.
"Do you trust me, Saturn?"
Yes and no. No, I didn't. Yes I did.
"Trust you to what?" I murmured.
"To touch you?"
Jesus Christ. Everything inside of me begged for him. Slowly, I nodded.
"Use your words, Saturn," Calvin murmured.
Words. What were words? Whatever they were, I had none.
"Y-yes," I stammered, "I trust you."
"Then come."
I went to him, and watched his amusement grow at my obedience. He took hold of me, pressing my bare shoulders down into the pillows. His fingers were as cold as his gaze.
"Calvin?" I peeped.
"Hm?""I've never been touched before."
"Lucky me."
