July 27, 2010, Atlanta

Lindsey swung the door of his hotel room open after a series of incessant knocks, the last person he expected to see on the other side being Stevie. His eyes widened, nervously looking back behind him before he turned to face her again. He couldn't help but notice she looked incredible, her hair perfectly curled and tousled down her back, her skin radiant, something different with her makeup that he couldn't quite place, and the smell of her perfume immediately awakening all his senses. On top of it all, she wore a devious expression that made him both nervous and excited at the same time.

"Hey....what..." he was about to ask what was going on, but she interrupted him.

"Can I come in?"

"Stevie, I don't...I'm not...."

"I'm actually here for Kristen," she smiled, "Is she here?"

He raised his brow, "Yes....why?"

"Who is it?" Kristen's voice suddenly interrupted, appearing behind Lindsey as she eyed Stevie suspiciously, "Oh Stevie, what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to get you actually! We've all arranged a giant girls day at the hotel spa. I was able to get you the last 90-minute massage! We all have to be down there in a half an hour, it'll be fun - Christine, Mary, Sharon, Marilyn, Julie, and a few girls from the crew too!"

"Oh," Kristen grimaced, a spa day being the last thing she expected from Stevie - but an offer she wasn't about to refuse, despite her disdain for the woman standing across from her. "That sounds so nice. You don't mind, Lindsey?"

He looked between the two women, a feeling of utter confusion and nervousness rippling through him, "Sure, of course not, go ahead you two have fun."

Stevie grinned at the both of them, "Great, meet you down there soon!" She smiled at Kristen before skipping off, leaving them both bewildered.

A half hour later, Kristen apprehensively walked into the hotel spa looking for the rest of the girls. She found them all huddled around Stevie and Christine, giddily talking about their massages and the zen pools and sauna they'd be lounging in all afternoon.

"Kristen! You made it, yay!" Stevie cheered, welcoming her into the group, "We're just waiting to go back and get into our robes before heading over to the zen room."

"Oh great, my back has been killing me, this is going to be so nice," Kristen smiled.

Karen watched on in amusement as her boss exchanged pleasantries with Kristen, knowing there had to be something up her sleeve here for suggesting this spa day in the first place and more importantly, for suggesting to invite Kristen along. She knew better than to question it, knowing Stevie would play coy about the entire thing like she always did. Finally, they all went back into the changing area before slipping into fluffy robes and off to the waiting room. They sat around in the spa's waiting area, sprawled out on lounge chairs and whispering excitedly as they each got plucked off by their masseuses one by one.

"Here, I got you a glass of cucumber water," Stevie smiled, handing the glass to Kristen as she sat. "You should be called in next, I think your appointment was for a half hour before mine."

"Oh, are you sure you don't want to go first?"

"No, no, go ahead, I'm just going to relax out here do not worry about me," she smiled, sipping her own water.
