FINNEYS POV

"Hello, little boys!" We heard a man yell from a distance.

We froze together in sync, both of us now staring at each other in fear. We slowly turned our heads, seeing a man about as tall as robin, (robin is 6'1 btw)

His features seemed similar, in a pleasing way. He has long, blond, curly looking hair that was knotted, and piercing blue eyes with a wide smile on his face. He looked crazy as shit, but I'm guessing Robin knew him.

"Vance fucking hopper!" I heard Robin say, as he ran back to meet up with his best friend. "Your a little shit." He continued, rubbing his face in relief.

"Yea yea, whatever, y'all get your asses over to my truck, we're going to a party. " Vance commands, bringing keys from his front pocket and walking into the darkness. The fuck? A party? Hell no. I don't think I had a choice though, so I walked with them.

We followed wearily, hopping into the backseat of his squished truck. Me and Robin were as well as half way on top of each other.

Vance started the car, heat instantly flourishing within the cramped space. "Sorry for the tight fit, it'll only be like 5 minutes tho, dudes." He remarked, starting to drive near the old county lake.

About 4 minutes later we arrived at a modern looking house, with bright candles out front, surrounded by moths and mosquitoes. Many people were cramped outside as well as the inside, but that didn't seem to bother Vance or Robin from getting out and try crashing into the other people.

I on the other hand, stayed in the car for a second, just until it wasn't as crowded. But that's not what Robin had planned, because he took my hand, yanked me out of the truck, and started running through the crowds of people.

We finally made it to the kitchen of the house, and boy was I glad. Why the fuck was there so many damn rooms in this stupid house? I followed behind robin and Vance , who were walking up to a dirty-blonde haired boy, with little swoops along the edges of his forehead.

He was sitting on the counter top, along with another blonde boy, but this one looked like he was still in middle school. Vance said hi as we made our way in front of them, so did robin.

Robin pulled me in front to introduce me, and Vance gave a weird look that said, "dude...they already know each other...", but shrugged anyway. "Hey Billy, griffin. This is my friend, Finn. And you already know Vance, so yea."

Hearing him say friend meant something to me for some reason. It made me feel all bubbly inside and sorta..happy? I brushed the feeling out of my hand when I realized. Wait...I already knew these two guys.  Griffin and Billy, from the drive in. Griffin's literally my best friend💀.
I don't think Robin comprehended the fact we all went somewhere together since he was probably high out of his mind. I decided to not bring it up, flushing a face towards the other two as I played along.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Finney Blake. How are you?" I greeted billy, trying not to laugh as I  shook his hand as he stuck it out. He grinned back at me, answering politely, "Hey Finney Blake,  I'm Billy, Billy Showalter." Billy said, letting go and patting who I thought was Griffin on the shoulder.

"This is griffyboy, he's in his freshman year if your wondering, he's just really small for his age." He answered sarcastically , ruffling with griffins hair.

"Hey finney!" Griffin said, smirking brightly. "Hi:)" I replied.

I saw Vance pull robin aside, and I wanted to listen, so I acted like I was getting a drink, and went to the fridge right beside them to get ice. Thankfully, they didn't notice it was me.

ROBINS POV-/-

I watched as Finney introduced himself to Billy and Griffin, as Vance then pulled me aside.

"Hey Robin, isn't that the faggot that we make fun of all the time, why are you suddenly talking with him? I mean, I saw you guys earlier and was gonna make fun of him, but I was already late so I just decided to take him with. But why were you with him?"

Vance seemed genuinely confused, but I didn't know what to say. "I- uhm..well, we were just-" I struggled, having no idea what to say.

We got interrupted by finney, pulling on my arm and shooting a glare at Vance. "Hey, sorry Vance, but I need to borrow Robin." He spoke, pulling me into the dining room. At the table their were about 16 kids, playing truth or dare. All eyes were on us as we walked in.

Me and finney joined in, trying to blend in but of course Vance came and joined too.

A random girl sprinted into action once she saw me sit down.

"ROBIN TRUTH OR DARE." She screamed, busting my eardrums. "Truth ig." I blankly remarked, rolling my eyes. I saw Vance lean down to her ear, and I immediately regretted my decision.

"Uhm." She said after a few seconds, continuing, "what were you honestly doing with finney earlier tonight." She asked, turning heads and gasps could be heard.

Finney barged in, trying to come up with a lie. "Um, my dad wanted us to go to the grocery-"

"No." I heard Vance say. "She asked robin, not you." I gulped, knowing what was coming. I was being stupid, I couldn't hold it back.

"Fine, Vance. You want to know huh? I was spending fucking time with my friend. That's right, HES MY FRIEND. DOES IT MAKE YOU ALL SCARED BECAUSE I HAVE A FAG AS MY FRIEND?! YOU DONT EVEN KNOW IF HES A FAG, SO ALL OF YOU CAN SHUT THE FUCK UP, I SEE YOU STARING." I poured out, challenging anyone to say anything.

There was silence for a moment, until someone spoke up. "Yea, go get a room with your faggot little boyfriend, why don't you ." We heard a bunch of gasps, and Turing heads to see who had said it. And of course, it was Mattie.

I scowl formed on my face as I pushed past the group in front of him. "And what if I do?" I say, perking up and looking down at him. He hesitated for a moment, before declaring,

"I knew it, your just a low life faggot who doesn't deserve to be in this world. I mean, fairy's are disgusting, they're abnormal, and gross." He laughed.

Something clicked inside when he said that. I looked back at finney and he looked like he was crying. I gripped my fist slowly, turning back around.

"Aw, look at him defend his stupid little fairy boyfriend. But guess what? FINNEY BLAKE IS A FAIRY, HE DOENST DESERVE TO LIVE, YEAH? GO DIE, FINN-" That's it.

He made it halfway through his sentence when I punched him harder than I had ever punched anyone.

There were yells and screams, but I made out one thing.

I heard finney, giggling frantically. His laugh. I made him laugh.

I smiled happily, before throwing my fist against him once again.
