Thinking back to that day always sent shivers down his spine, he ex-storm king, master of the wind Morro Storm struggled to keep his emotions at bay as he looked down into the glass coffin which held his only son, the light to the Storm Realm was fading and yet he still clung to the tiniest bit of hope that the ninja would pull through and his son would wake up to see the light of day again. His thoughts were rattled by a set of familiar arms wrapping around his chest.
“He will wake”
“How can you be so sure?”
“I can’t explain it but he will. Call it a celestial thing, Zane will wake up”
“I certainly hope so,” Morro muttered, wrapping his arms tightly around his husband, the one who drove him forward with hope everyday. The devil himself, Kane Storm.
Their thoughts drift back to a year ago on the day that changed not only their lives but the lives of everyone living in all of the realms, especially the Storm Realm.
