Ten long years had passed since that fateful day on the beach, the day the realm became whole even if it was without the darker guardians instead the guardians of the lighter sides fixed the realms, ones that could be reached. During it; five out of six kingdoms had come back and were healthy, the citizens and those from other realms visited, wishing their happiness on the high kingdom, the Storm Kingdom was ruled by the high kings Zane and Cole, both of them in reunion. Other kingdoms included the revived Fire, Water, Floral and Oceania, the underwater world which connected with the water kingdom. Nya and Jay ruled that one.
However there was a sixth kingdom; it was just hidden from plain view by smoky clouds and within the sirental area, it was a kingdom enclosed by death smoke, something that kept the light from hurting the darkness to the elementals. Something that stopped the guardians of light from getting upset and separated families but that didn’t mean the groups didn’t meet in the centre of the beach, to celebrate the years they had come together and why they had done it. Plus it was a certain birthday today and it was only right.
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy 10th birthday dear Theo, happy birthday to you”
Many individuals sang together to the now ten year old who laughed at his father who was grinning his way, “Make a wish my son” Cole whispered, kissing his hairline and watching his youngest blow out the ten candles while his other children except Arlo cheered with the others. Cole couldn’t believe how old his children were, now at the ages of: Arlo, Robin and Crystal were 15 while CJ and Dawn were 13 leaving Theo at the age of 10. He still couldn’t believe that Zane, his partner, had managed to survive the births and still be walking around to this day. Cole’s eyes went from the five children in his reach to the side where his beautiful husband, soulmate stood beside Arlo, the two of them talking in private conversation. Cole knew it was a serious conversation especially since Arlo had inquired lately a lot about his powers. Even though Zane had lost his gift, he was still one of the most powerful individuals in the realm with his ability to go from a kind puppy to a raging dragon in seconds, it still scared Cole but he loved the mother of his children no matter what.
“Thank you! Can we play in the water now?! Please!” Theo whipped around to face Cole who nodded, he watched the smiles light up on the faces of his children, even the teenagers as they raced towards the water only to stop as a portal opened and they were stopped by a shield. In the form of Rocky and Shard, both elder dragons had dropped directly in front of their adopted children, Zane and Arlo were behind the shield looking over in confusion only a wave of water to protect them.
“Woah, what's going on mama?” Little Blake who was now 13 looked over at Nya who smiled at her son, “I have no idea but Nicor is here to protect us” Nya turned to the water dragon who stood directly in front of them, her powerful water shield protecting Zane and Arlo. Both of them connected eyes with Cole who watched with worried eyes. Across the beach was Flame and Ultra with Wisp, all three of them defending their protectors.
“Maddie?” Lloyd gasped out seeing a cloud of smoke clear slightly revealing Maddie, Ash, Casey and little Hope who was now seven, holding her parents hands, she aged slower due to the demon gene within her body. One that would be rectified, once the devil returned.
“Hi Lloyd, all…we have managed to pass the border with some news” Maddie waved towards herself, Casey, Hope and Ash. All of them were smiling with happiness as they all looked towards the portal where a figure appeared, one in a very familiar pine green leather jacket.
“Have you missed me?” the cocky words belonged to none other than Morro who laughed at their expressions, he watched them share confused looks until the shields dropped and the portal closed.
