Elsewhere…

Shade sighed, they had reached the Sirental Kingdom. Neuro was silent, staring at an orb with his hands glowing.

"Is he okay?" Saffron asked, holding tightly to Shades' hand. Neuro wasn't responding, Numa was guiding him through finding his siren.

"I don't know, originally he wasn't going to tell me about his siren but last night. He told me everything he was terrified of" Shade whispered, "including me, he believed I would take the kids and go. It took him a while to admit it but I'm glad he did because now he can think with a clearer mind" Shade explained, squeezing his mother's hand as Cryptor remained silent beside them but holding his son's hand while Morro watched with interest.

A bright purple light had them all closing their eyes as masks covered their features while water filled the room. Numa and Neuro glowed as their water creatures came out. A mermaid and siren in the same room. Doors to the side opened revealing Triton who entered with a smile as the curse was lifted and Neuro nodded at him. He had fully bonded with the siren, his god would not harm the Sirental kingdom, his home away from home.

"Neuro?" Shade's love tone had the siren smiling, recognising his mate as they all glowed, only for them all to disappear in a flash.

Upon waking up, Morro could only groan seeing the dark night of the Storm Realm, groans from beside them revealed to be Cryptor and Saffron. The two sat up only to smile.

Shade and Neuro were lying on the sand with Shade on his back while Neuro lay on Shades' chest, their hands connected. Neuro's hair was burgundy purple. His gem was in the middle of his forehead while Shade had a necklace on that was the colour of purple. It was clear the two had bonded fully.

"Are they okay?" Morro asked as he crawled over. Saffron only kneeled beside the two, she went to reach forward when Neuro's eyes snapped open and he hissed at her, she gasped in shock only for Shade to cover his eyes. The master of shadow knew one thing, the siren in his husband was very protective especially since their bond was open making them quite vulnerable. Which Shade needed to close once he was finished with it. Catching his dad's eyes, Cryptor nodded, directing Saffron and Morro away and back towards the palace.

“Neuro?”

The said man looked up only for soft lips to connect with his own as Neuro felt the power of the master of shadow, Shade pushed his shields into his partners, startling the siren who sent their own back. The feeling between them was like an addiction, a burst in between them as Shade flipped them, he made sure he was on top as he gifted Neuro a necklace made purely from death stone, Shade’s birth necklace soon found its place around his husband’s neck. A seal like no other was made as the siren smiled inwardly, beads weaved around Shade’s neck until a burning sensation had the man smiling. A tattoo of the sirental gem Neuro had on his arm appeared on Shade’s neck just as Neuro bit him. Shade screamed in pleasure as their soul bond connected with one another and their celestial sides took over.

A death song and a water god became one as a flash of purple and silver startled the guardians of both pure and impure, it would seem the balance had found their partner. A darkness like no other lived within the balance but for once it was one of light in the darkness.

Elsewhere…

Morro gasped seeing Kane passed out in their bed, he was curled up holding a hand tightly to his chest while Kai and Cole sat overwatching him, the two acknowledged the master of wind as they bypassed him out of the door. Carefully, Morro climbed in behind Kane only to frown. Two new scars were around his husband's neck, the marks looked like finger marks, he gently touched them only for Kane's eyes to snap open.
