Chapter sixteen: Could it be you?

After Joe visited me with a bit of bloody body, we got him cleaned up and now me and Joana also Joe is up to finding out who would send people to gang up against him.

Joana: How are you going to figure out who did it? You can't just go up to people and start questioning them, you know?

Ava: That's true, maybe I'll try to have a conversation with them and go on with the question?

Joana: What about Ellen? You know she won't talk to you.

Ava: Right, maybe you'll be the one to talk to her.

Joana: I can do that

Joe: You guys

Ava: What's wrong?

Joe: You don't have to do the interrogation shit besides the injuries are not that deep, it will go

Ava: That's what you think. If we let that slide, it will happen again

Joe: Just worry less about it and me, I'm okay

Joana: Ava, we should listen to Joe. It is his choice.

Joe: Thank you

Ava: Alright then

We decided not to question anyone and went on to watching movies and eating, also did some talking, it was fun.

After Joe left, I decided to go against Joe and question people but I have to do it with someone so I asked Joana to do with me.

Ava: Listen, I know Joe said not to interrogate anyone and let it slide but I still want to do it, I can't let it slide.

Joana: Ava? Why? What if Joe finds out?

Ava: He won't unless you tell him

Joana: I won't

Ava: Alright, let's do this. You'll go up to Ellen and talk to her, tell her me and you ain't friends anymore and give a fake reason, when you notice she's starting to believe you, you'll ask her about if she sent someone to gang up against Joe then do some few talking and leave. You get it?

Joana: Why do I have to pretend we aren't friends anymore? Can't you think of any other reason?

Ava: Give me your reasons then

Joana: maybe just straight up ask her?

Ava: Then she'll lie and say no

Joana: Let's do your way then

Ava: Thank you, I'll talk to josh, he seems easy.

Joana: Alright. I'll see you next week.

Ava: See you too. (We hugged and she left)

On Monday, I met Joana and we talked and went to class, she was nervous about talking to Ellen but I assured her it will go well.

I went to my class and I saw josh and of course he waved and smiled at me and I did the same because of my plan, so I said to him

Ava: Hey josh, looking good today

Josh: Really? Aww,thanks.

Ava: I love the new haircut too

Josh: What haircut? I didn't cut my hair, well I'm about to

Ava: Oh okay, sorry

Josh: It's alright, you're awfully nice today. It's a good thing though

Ava: Thanks

Josh: Surprise that you're talking to me today

Ava: Really? My bad

Josh: It's alright, I'm happy you're talking to me though.

Ava: Good

Josh: I love you

Ava: Thanks

Teacher: Josh and Ava, be quiet

Ava: Right

Josh: Now that you want to be friends, can I have your number or socials?

Ava: The teacher said to be quiet

Josh: Right

The class went on and on, it was kind of boring but I stayed, no choice.

During break, i texted Joana to ask her how things is going with her and Ellen, Joe was also curious about her not joining me during lunch.

Joe: Hey, Joana is not in college today?

Ava: I don't know, I'm not sure.

Joe: Oh,there she is. Hi, joana

Ava: I'm not sitting with her, we kind of got into an argument. It will be weird if she sits here

Joe: Oh, sorry about that. Bout time to find new friends?

Ava: I don't need new friends, tired of dramas

Joe: Alright, if you say so.

As me and joe ate our lunch, I watched Joana and Ellen talk, it was awkward among them but it I'm sure she will do it, I decided to text her to see how she's doing and she said "not bad" and I just chuckled and went on with what I was doing.
