"Let's get moving! We're gonna be late!" I call out as I hop into the front seat of my best friend Jin's car.

"Maybe if you got your own car you wouldn't have to wait for me." Jin scoffs as he slides in the driver seat, throwing his bag in the back.

"Why would I do that? I'm a passenger princess until I die." I laugh and Jin rolls his eyes as he starts the car, heading off in the direction of our school.

It was our first day of senior year and at this rate, we'd be starting off the year late.

"Do you know if you have any of the other guys in your classes?" Jin asks, keeping his eyes on the road as he spoke.

"Not sure. I haven't asked because I figured you would have by now. You know, considering you get jealous when I talk to them." I tease and Jin makes a face but doesn't say anything about my comment.

"I'd text them, but we'll see them soon enough." I say and Jin nods, not saying much else. I knew my comment rubbed him the wrong way and to be fair, I shouldn't have said it.

Okay, let me explain. Back in like sixth grade, Jin and I dated and every one of our friends knew about it. We were only together for less than a year and stayed friends after but it's still just a strange topic to talk about. He's over it now but he absolutely hates when I make jokes about it. I don't do it often but sometimes I slip up and it annoys him.

The guys do it pretty often, so he hasn't really been able to live it down. That's not my fault though, I do my best not to bring it up. Especially considering it did almost ruin our friendship back then.

Maybe that's why he doesn't like it being brought up but regardless, that's the one thing that seems to annoy him the most.

I shake the thought as we finally pull up to the school. I unbuckle before Jin even fully stops. When he shuts off the car, he reaches in the back seat and pulls his bag into his lap, opening his car door.

Just as I go to reach for mine, it swings open. I look up and smile instantly as I see one of the many guys we were just talking about. Jimin stands there, holding the door open for me.

"Thank you." I smile as I step up, our faces rather close as I get to the same standing level that he's at. "My pleasure." Jimin says, a soft smile on his face as always.

"Where are the others?" Jin asks, appearing at Jimin's side, reaching for the door and shutting it rather roughly, causing me to have to move over quickly.

Jimin doesn't even have time to speak before one of the others, Taehyung, is coming up behind Jin, throwing his arms around his shoulders. Jin stumbled forward but caught himself.

"Can you believe it's your guys' senior year. Not all of us are that lucky." Tae frowns and I grin. "I'm so excited. I can't wait to get out of this place." I say and from the corner of my eye I see Jin frown.

This being, because for years I had talked about how I wanted to move after High school. He wasn't happy about it because he didn't have any plans to move, and we had never been so far apart before. He was very against it but in the end, it was going to happen whether he liked it or not.

"No need to worry Jinnie, I'm totally going with Y/n. I'll keep her safe." Jimin grins and my eyes go from Jin to Jimin, and I smile. "I'm sure you will."  I giggle as I link my arm with Jimin and nod my head.

"Where are you two going?" Jin asks, ignoring what was previously said. "To class." I say and Jin tilts his head. "But you said-" I laugh. "I lied. Of course I asked if I had classes with any of them. See ya." I smile as Jimin and I head off, leaving Jin and Tae to wait for the others alone.

Once Jimin and I are in our classroom and in our seats, Jimin strikes up conversation. "Do you think I made him mad with what I said?" Jimin laughs.

"Not sure, maybe." I shrug as I pull out my notebook. "I hope I did. He's so funny when he's mad and obvious." Jimin says and I laugh. "Obvious? He doesn't still like me, Jimin. Trust me, we had a talk awhile back and he confirmed he was over it. Besides, he knows I like someone else." I say, avoiding Jimin's eyes.

"You like someone else?! I didn't know that! Jin never told us that!" Jimin says, his jaw slacked in shock.

"Why would he? He doesn't know who It is either so he wouldn't have any information to tell you." I laugh, watching as he looks at me in complete shock, his expression not changing.

"Well tell me! I really want to know. I won't tell any of the guys, I swear." Jimin begs, leaning forward and grabbing my arm, shaking me.

I suck in a breath as I think on it for a moment then shake my head. "I don't think so. I can't tell you." I say and Jimin frowns.

"Why not? We're friends, right?!" Jimin asks and I sigh as I look up at him, our eyes locking.

"Yes, and that's exactly why I can't tell you." I say and Jimin frowns and shakes his head. "No, that's exactly why you SHOULD tell me." He says and I can tell he isn't going to let it go and as someone who was pretty straight forward, I did what I always did. I was blunt as fuck.

"It's you."
