The phone rings twice before Jin finally picks up, a smile on his face.
"Hey." I say, leaning back against my headboard.
"Hey, what's up?" He asks but I think judging by the smile on my face, he can already tell what the conversation was going to be about.
"I just wanted to tell you first before the guys beat me to it, but Jimin and I are dating, officially."
Jin is silent for a second before he nods. "I take it the date went good then?"
"It went great. I had a lot of fun." I confirm, watching as his expression stays the same.
"That's good, I'm glad. I hope things go well for you two." He says and although his words are sincere, his tone of voice doesn't match the words.
"Me too." I say, not questioning it. I was happy right now and I wasn't going to let anything kill that vibe.
"So, did you two do anything else besides make it official?" Jin asks after a moment.
I feel my cheeks heat a little after he says that.
"Must have, you're blushing. Your face is practically red." He says, shifting his phone slightly.
"Oh hush." I say then quickly change the subject. "I just wanted to call to let you know first. I figured it would be better coming from me then having to hear the guys talk about it." I laugh.
"Well thanks, I appreciate it." Jin says and I nod.
"Yeah, well I'll see you tomorrow bright and early. I'm going to lay down to sleep." I say and Jin gives me an okay before we end the call.
I roll over in my bed as I think back on everything that's happened today.
I was so excited that Jimin and I were now officially boyfriend and girlfriend! I was happy about the kiss and about how our date went. Overall, Today was amazing, and I was looking forward to what was yet to come.
I'm also thankful that Jin seemed to be okay with everything.
I was definitely afraid it would be terribly awkward and weird but thankfully it's not.
I care about both of them so much and I'm glad things seem to be going so well right now.
At the end of the day, I'm happy. Things seem to be looking up.

I rush out the front door, making sure not to keep Jin waiting. As I hop into the passenger seat, he looks over at me with a raised eyebrow.
"You look especially nice today. Dressing up for your little boyfriend, are we?" Jin asks as he looks me up and down.
"Of course not, I just felt like actually getting ready." I say, half lying. I definitely was trying to make myself look nice for Jimin, not that I would admit that to Jin.
Jin shakes his head as he pulls out of the driveway and heads off in the direction of our school.
On the ride there, he seems to be all about wanting to know how the date went.
Initially, I felt uncomfortable talking to Jin about these things but since he didn't seem to be bothered by it, I figured why should I be?
"After the movies we got food then went on a walk around a park. When he took me home he asked me out and that's about it." I say, continuing to leave out the part about us kissing.
Still, that felt weird to admit out loud to him.
"That was it? He didn't even hold your hand or kiss you?" Jin asks, as if reading my mind.
When I don't say anything, Jin looks over at me, seeing the blush on my cheeks.
He's silent again before he clears his throat.
"Oh, well good. It's good that you two are giving it your all." He says and I can tell he's starting to get uncomfortable so I quickly change the subject.
The rest of the ride seems to go smoothly after that.
When we get to school the guys flock to Jin's car in an instant.
"Not riding with your boyfriend today? We heard all about the date!" Tae grins as he hops to my side.
"I told you guys not to be weird." Jimin sighs as he joins my side.
"It's okay, they're fine." I laugh as I turn to hug Jimin.
"Awe look at you two, so cute." Hoseok says with a smile as he gives me a thumbs up.
When I pull back from the hug, Jimin smiles.
"Wanna head to class?" He asks and Namjoon frowns.
"We still have some time before class starts. Hang out with us for a bit."
Jimin goes to speak but stops himself and instead just nods.
My eyes shift back over to Jin who seems to be staring off in the distance, looking spaced out.
"We also heard you two kissed! How was that?" Jungkook grins, gathering everyone's attention again, even Jin's.
Both Jimin and I become flustered.
"It was great." Jimin says and Jungkook wiggles his eyebrows. "I'm sure it was."
"Don't make it weird." I say, already feeling embarrassed enough.
I knew the guys would tease us but I wasn't prepared for it first thing in the morning.
Word travels fast in our friend group so I'm not surprised everyone is already filled in on the events that happened not even twenty four hours ago.
"It's not weird! We're all friends here. Some of us ex's but hey, tomato toma-to." Namjoon says and both Jin and I look at him with the same reaction.
I had no idea why Namjoon was being this way towards us, but I was starting to get a little annoyed.
"Let's get to class." Jimin says and I agree, not caring to stand around anymore.
"See ya later." I say, directed at everyone but my eyes were on Jin, as I wave goodbye.
After he nods and waves back, Jimin and I head to class, both of us feeling a little annoyed by Namjoon's words and actions.
I had no idea what his problem was, but I planned to find out.
