Kazuha burst through the door and Beidou and Gorou were in there. He supported himself with the door as he tried to catch his breath.
"I'm back" was the first thing he said
Beidou looked at him sternly "where in Celestia have you been?" She asked
"Snezhnaya..?" Kazuha responded
"How did you end up there?" Asked Gorou
"It's a long story I'll tell you later, what are we doing Lumine is in trouble?" Kazuha said
"We need to find her, she went to talk to the Raiden shogun and hasn't come back!" Gorou explained
"We need to go then" Kazuha said in a rush
"We were just about to go, so come on" Gorou ordered "we need to get back up as well"

Scaramouche got to the entrance of the Narukami shrine, the sky was a deep electric purple and was thundering angrily. The harbinger swallowed and walked into the shrine. No one was there not even the shrine maidens but I guess with weather like this who would want to be out. Scaramouche walked to the entrance of the inside of the shrine and there she was.
"Yae miko" he said clenching his jaw
"Oh it's you" she turned around and saw the other
She stepped outside with him, she looked up at the sky thoughtfully before turning back to the younger boy.
"What is it you need?" She asked wearily
"I need the electro gnosis." He responded "hand it over" he offered his hand out
Miko laughed "I knew some day you would come here to get it"
"Just hand it over" The purple haired boy's hand trembled but in an unnoticeable way
"Hm alright then" she walked into the shrine to get it and pressed it into the others hand
Scaramouche stared in surprise in how easily she gave it over. Yae miko stared back not smiling.
"You have what you need, now leave" she demanded
"I have one question first" Scaramouche said
"What is it?" She asked folding her arms
"If I didn't give the gnosis to the fatui and kept it for myself, would I be able to love?" He questioned looking down at the shining object in his hand
"Yes, why is there someone?" She asked thoughtfully
"Ha" Scaramouche folded his arms holding tightly onto the gnosis "that's none of your concern"
"It's not impossible for you to feel it now you know" she stated
"Just because you don't have a heart, doesn't mean you can't love"
Scaramouche's eyes widened.
"Whatever" he said and he turned around and began to walk away "it was a hypothetical question"
"sure.. whatever you say Kuni"

Kazuha, Beidou, Gorou and 10 soldiers of the resistance all ran up to the entrance of the shogun's resident. Lumine was standing there her hand to her head as she winced in pain. Suddenly there was a bolt of lightning and the shogun's signature symbol showed. Kazuha's heart skipped a beat as an unidentifiable emotion took over him, tomos old vision glowed a bright purple and he had sudden the urge to rush up the the stairs without thinking.
He felt as if he could feel every nerve, fibre and bone in his body as he ran. The adrenaline of danger coursed through his body, an explosion of electro erupted from the end of his sword mixed with anemo and blocked the shogun's attack.
From the side of all of the battle Scaramouche was watching in shock as he watched the other block of his own mother's attack. He scoffed slightly at the memory of him telling the poet not to do anything dangerous. Scaramouche honestly thought that the other was going to die, fortunately he didn't. He noted himself to tell Kazuha again not to put himself in danger but to do it in a more.. memorable way.

After they had saved Lumine they went back to the creet flux. They all sat around in Kazuhas room firstly checking over any injuries during the fight.
"That was awesome Kazuha, how did you do that?" Paimon squealed
"Do what?" The poet asked
"Your old friends vision, it lit up and you jumped Infront of the shogun's sword" Replied Paimon dramatically waving her arms about
"Yeah it was crazy" replied Gorou
"I'm not sure, I guess I was over come by emotion??" he responded
"Well it was awesome" agreed Beidou
"Anyways how did you end up in Snezhnaya? We were so worried you just disappeared" asked Gorou
"Right I said I'd tell you" responded Kazuha
"You went to Snezhnaya?" Asked Lumine
"Yeah only for a bit, I didn't know I was in Snezhnaya until I was on my way back" the poet explained
"How did you realise you were there in the first place?" Asked The brown haired general
"Someone told me" Kazuha Replied
"I think the question should be how did you get there in the first place?" Questioned Paimon
"So during the battle on the beach that day, half way through a strike of lightening hit the floor" The white haired boy started explaining
"Yes I remember that" Said Lumine
"And it was right by me and all this purple mist started covering the ground and when I looked up the balladeer was there"
"I told you to be careful" Beidou said in a slightly stern but worried voice
"Oh yeah and also what happened in the delusions factory" Gorou mentioned "Kazuha, do you know him"
"Not really anyways let me continue" Kazuha sat up against the wall more and continued to speak.
"And he asked me to come with him, I decided to go with him, I'm not sure why." Kazuha explained "my thought process was a bit hazy from all injuries and stuff"
Everyone was looking his way intensely waiting for the next part of the explanation.
"And he offered a deal and said that if I didn't agree then he would just leave me alone and never speak to me and I could return to you guys or I could agree"
"What was the deal?" Asked Paimon curiously
Kazuha blushed red and continued with the story.
"I agreed to it, it took a little thought but it sounded intriguing and I wanted to try something different. Then I ended up staying in Snezhnaya for a day or two but I never knew until we were walking to the docks and he told me"
Kazuha finished up the story and left everyone with one burning question.
What was the deal?
Lumine tried asking again but he avoided the question again.
"You better not be betraying us or putting yourself in more danger" Beidou said
"I'm not I swear" the poet responded "I'll be careful, when am I never not careful?" He asked
Everyone gave him a look and sighed. When they all left Kazuha laid in his bed staring at the the ceiling. He wondered what Scaramouche was doing. Eventually he drifted into a dreamless sleep until the next day.
