Soon after, Link made it to the Kara Kara Bazaar, where he got advice on how to get to Gerudo Town. On the path to Gerudo Town, he noticed a man spying inside. He told Link that if one wished to get into Gerudo Town, he must wear the traditional Gerudo attire and pass for a female, as only women were allowed inside of the town.
Link ran back to Kara Kara Bazaar and climbed to the top of the watch-house, where a young woman stood. She offered him Gerudo garments, and then promptly had her veil blown away to reveal a beard. Whoops.
Link cross-dressed and got into Gerudo Town, and sought out Riju, the Gerudo Chief, to help conquer the Divine Beast Vah Naboris. When he entered her chamber, her guards were suspicious, but Riju was okay with having a man, claiming that he was the one to help with the Vah Naboris issue.
Before they could take down the Divine Beast, they had to retake the Thunderhelm, a relic of great power, from the Yiga clan, who were a group of Sheikah that instead of developing technology, decided to worship Demise.
Since the Thunderhelm was so valuable, and it's electric powers were crucial in a battle with the Divine Beast Vah Naboris, Link was tasked with stealing bay the helm from the Yiga clan in an operation to extract the helm and himself silently.
He proved capable of all of this, but at the last moment, when he was about to escape, the ringleader of the Yiga, Master Kohga, stepped in and demanded that him and Link battle. Kohga lost. He is remembered d we dory by the Yiga who attack Link viciously and randomly from that point on.
Link mad with backnwkth the Thunderhelm, and with some help from some Sand Seals (sealiously) Riju and Link took down Vah Naboris's defences by shooting bomb arrows at its feet while in the midst of an electrical sand storm.
Once Linn was "safely" in the Divine Beast, he activated the map terminal, which allowed him to control the rotation of the Beast, as well as see a map of it.
The voice of Lady Urbosa guided Link through the five terminals and right through to the main terminal, but when Link went to touch his Sheikah slate to the pedestal, a hideous creature known as Thunderblight appeared.
Thunderblight was quick, but Link used Magnesis to defeat the blight, using its own power against it.
Urbosa congratulated Link on his victory and appeared in a ghostly form to gift Link her power: Urbosa's fury. This power used electricity and shocked nearby enemies, but it requires a small cooldown so that Link himself doesn't acquire injuries.
And so, Link went back to Gerudo town after activating the terminal, and went on to do what he must do next.
