CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR

SEEING SALAMANDER STUNNED gave everybody new hope that they could actually win this. They were still on their brooms, a good distance away from Fana as they readied their next attack.

"Noelle's attack stunned Salamander! This is our only chance!" Finral shouted.

"Awright! It's finally time for my special move!" Asta shouted, determinedly.

"I won't allow it!" Fana huffed as she opened her grimoire again to create a new spell.

From thin air, large, sharp, dagger-like weapons made of some mineral were created from Fana's other attribute.

[Mineral Creation Magic: Harpe]

The daggers spun around quickly as they flew towards the Black Bulls and dragons. Asta stood on the broom and took out his swords. He began to destroy all of the daggers that came their way.

"RRAAAAHH!" He shouted.

"Like I said, how is she using magic other than flame magic when she's not a hybrid?!" Finral demanded as he whined a that's just not fair!

'This spell...!' Asta thought as he recognised it.

Fana's grimoire flipped to another page.

[Flame Recovery Magic: Phoenix Robe]

A blanket-like spell wrapped around Fana with wing-like flames coming behind. At that moment, Asta realised where he had seen the magic.

'And that spell too. I knew it,' Asta thought.

"She can use recovery magic too?!" Finral whined with sweat coming from all over his face.

"Hey! Lady!!" Asta shouted causing Fana to halt. "You wouldn't happen to have a brother with a pale face and spiky hair, wouldja?!"

"..." Fana made no comment but Yuna could tell that there was a slight chance Fana would know him.

"Cuz he's on the other side forest right now, y'know?!" Asta continued.

"What are you talking about, Asta?!" Finral asked him.

"I don't know anyone like that! If I have any siblings, they're Licht and the people of my tribe!" Fana shouted at them. "Know their grudge! I'll massacre every last one of you humans and take Yoshiko back!"

"What is up with these guys and their obsession over Yoshiko?!" Vanessa demanded.

"As much as I would love people obsessing over my sweet cousin, right now isn't the time!" Yuna shouted.

"ARRRRRGH! I can't get through to her!!" Asta shouted. "I'll just have to stop her with my special move before she recovers!"

"Hang on, Asta! What is this special move you keep talking about?!" Finral asked.

"Heh heh heh. I'm so glad you asked! Yoshiko and I spent a while thinking about so we came up with this!" Asta told them. "It's when I hold both sword out in front of me and charge straight towards the air at ferocious speed. I call it..."

"How could you possibly do that?!" Finral and Vanessa both shouted together.

"Huh?! Wait, I can't?!" Asta asked.

"Not without us you can't!"

Using her thread magic that can now be used because both Salamander and Fana were weakened, Vanessa grabbed Asta from behind, lifting him up into the air.

"You always have the craziest ideas! Let us help!!" Vanessa shouted. "I'm sure this spell..."

'Asta, remember what I told you and Yoshiko a little while ago? Sometimes, you can't beat fate on your own,'
