FROM THE CROWDS, nobles chatted amongst themselves, pondering the decision of the Wizard King. Sayuri placed her hand on her hip as she looked up at them.
"Banishing the devil-possessed one from the kingdom...!! That'll make us safe, right?"
"But what about the Black Bulls?"
"The Wizard King wouldn't make any thoughtless, reckless decisions..."
"Two of the royal captains acknowledge and respect him..."
"The Dragon King is vouching for his safety as well..."
"Can't they shut up for two minutes?" Asgorath grumbled as Yoshiko patted his back in comfort.
"It seems I have under-weighed the faith others have in you," Damnatio said. He turned around, facing his head at Asta. "But know this, the moment this ceases to be in the kingdom's best interests, I will have you executed posthaste. Consider yourself still upon this scale,"
"...!" Asta didn't say anything as Damnatio turned away from them.
"Asta!" Yoshiko shouted, giving her childhood friend a tight hug.
"Yoshiko!" Asta said, giving her a hug back, "Thanks for rescuing me,"
"Mh-hm!" Yoshiko said with a closed-eye smile.
Meanwhile, Sayuri and Hiruko stared at each other for a few seconds. After that, Sayuri made a rather disgusted face and said,
"Ew,"
Hiruko crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.
"Nice to see you as well, Nee-chan,"
"Still a little brat, I see," Sayuri said.
"Oh, please. At least I don't waltz around where the hell I please,"
"Well, unlike you, I can go around wherever I want because no one can tell me no,"
"That's not even a good thing,"
"Poor you,"
"I hate you,"
"You know you love me," Sayuri teased with a grin. "Come on, tell me you love me,"
"Make me," Hiruko said.
Annoyed, Sayuri cracked her knuckles.
"Fine,"
And so, Sayuri wrestled the Shadow Wizard King to the floor and had in him a headlock. The Magic Knights all stared at the two with confusion and shock.
"Say it!" Sayuri shouted.
"No!" Hiruko shouted back.
"Aw, they're getting along so well," Asta said, fondly. "Reminds me of when Yoshiko and I were kids..."
"What?" Yoshiko asked, looking at him.
"When we were kids... you used to tackle me to the floor, remember...?" Asta asked.
Yoshiko didn't remember that. In fact, she remembered absolutely nothing. She always remembered being the kind, energetic girl... not the mean, sarcastic but friendly girl.
"No..." Yoshiko answered, looking down at the ground.
Her eyes had slightly widened, hands trembling as she realized, she couldn't remember anything. The earliest memory she had was the promise she, Asta and Yuno had made. But anything before that or after that, nothing. Then it was then she was ten, when she lost her voice, it was only memory afterwards.
"Yoshiko," Asta said, patting her head. "Don't worry if you can't remember. We'll figure everything out together,"
Yoshiko let out a small smile a nodded.
