𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐓 on the couch in Hopper's cabin, her head resting on Max's shoulder. Eleven was adamant on finding Billy and Heather, locking herself away till she found them.
After the day trying to find the Holloway girl and a change of clothing - and Juliette braiding Max's hair because she was becoming nervous and fidgety - they retreated to the cabin the woods.
"It can't be good for her to be in there this long." Mike stated with concern.
Juliette mumbled, "Mikey, you need to relax a little."
"What if she gets brain damage or something?"
Lucas, wide eyed, looked towards Mike and the two girls. "Oh, shit. Is that, like, a real thing?" His eyes lingered on the brunette who shrugged in response. She doesn't think she, herself, had done any damage.
"No, it's not. He made it up." Max assured. "Mike doesn't know what the hell he's talking about."
The raven haired boy stopped his pacing, turning in annoyance at the red head. "Oh, and you do?"
"No. But my girlfriend also has powers and she's perfectly fine."
"El's been doing this for longer."
"So?" Max argued.
The Wheeler boy shook his head, "Neither of them have been in the void this long. So, how do we know for sure that they're okay or there isn't any side affects?"
The Amour girl sighed, grey eyes falling to Lucas as they shared a look. Mike and Max were like siblings, constantly arguing with each other for no reason.
The Mayfield girl huffed, standing up. Juliette was unprepared and fell backwards on the sofa. The duo, who was still bickering, walked towards the older teens, Lucas and Lu following.
"Okay, can you guys settle an argument for us?" Max asked. "Who do you think should decide El's limits? Mike or Eleven?"
"The way that you frame that is such bullshit." Mike defended.
Max rolled her eyes, continuing despite the boys glare. "It's not bullshit, Mike. This is your whole problem. And It's also precisely the reason why she dumped your ass."
"El dumped you?" Nancy asked, surprised.
"Yeah, because she and Lu is conspiring against me." The youngest Wheeler gestured in the red heads direction. "She's corrupting her."
