𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 rounded table in the kitchen, a bowl of cereal in front of her. The girl's eyes focused on the book in her left hand, reading Carrie by Stephen King.

The sudden phone on the wall ringing pulled Juliette out of though, making the girl look up. She placed her bookmark between the pages, closing it shut and setting down the spoon in the bowl, a clatter echoing.

The brunette headed over to the phone, holding it to her ear. "Hello, Juliette speaking?"

     "Lu, It's Dustin."

The girl furrowed her eyebrows, "Dusty?

"Yeah. So you know how the plan was to find Dart?"

      Juliette hummed, "Yes."

"Well I may have kept him. . ."

It was silent for a beat till the girl replied. "What happened that you sound so urgent, Dusty?" It was now Dustin's turn to go quiet. "Dustin?"

"He grew and ate Mews." The Henderson boy rushed out. Before Juliette could answer, Dustin began to talk again. However, it didn't seem like he was talking to her directly through the telephone. "Thank you so much, Mr. Corkle." The boy then rushed whispered, "(Meet me at my house in ten minutes.) Thank you so much. You are a true lifesaver. All right, this was great. (Ten minutes.) Thank you. All right. Have a good one. Bye-bye now. All right. You, too."

The phone clicked off and Juliette couldn't help the confusion written on her face. What the hell is going on?

Exactly ten minutes later, Juliette was standing outside the Henderson household, fist raised to knock the door. It opened a split second later to a frantic Dustin. He grabbed her hand, pulling her inside only to then drag her with him to the closet.

     "What happened?"

"I kept Dart. He's my friend and I didn't want to kill him, but then I came home and he ate Mews. He's locked in my room."

Juliette nodded, trying to process this information properly. "What are we going to do?"

"I need you to help me trap him in the cellar." Dustin spoke, pulling random sports gear from the closet. Juliette nodded and took some of the items Dustin held. "Grab some meat from the fridge."

She really didn't know what to think. Obviously the others would say this is a bad plan but also they would be too busy telling off Dustin for keeping Dart, again, and lying to them. Juliette trusted her friends actions. At lest they were now doing something to find this interdimensional, cat eating, slug.
