"𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍. 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐋𝐘?" 𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃onceagain been waiting on the steps to her house, the hobbit book in hand. Steve offered to give her a ride on the way to his work.
Juliette chuckled, placing her bookmark on the page before shutting the book closed and standing up.
"Yes." She smiled and walked over to Steve's car, getting into the front passenger seat. "What are you reading now?" Steve asked the fourteen year old who was clicking in her seatbelt.
"The Hobbit." Juliette stated. Steve shook his head with a smile before pulling into the road as they headed to Cherry road. "You look really stupid in that hat, Steve."
"Oh, thanks, Julie." Steve spoke, sarcastically, while the girl tried to hold back her giggle. "Am I picking you up later?"
Juliette shrugged and stuffed her book into her backpack. "I think so. Me and Max haven't decided what we're doing today."
"Ohhh." Steve grinned and Juliette blushed, knowing the teasing Steve was getting at. "Just be safe, m'kay? And if you need anything-"
Juliette nodded, "-find the nearest phone and call you, your at scoops till eight and if an emergency get Robin, Jonathan or Nancy. Yes, dad. I know."
Steve always gave that speech to the girl, worried that the bad men would come back for not just El but Juliette too. Hopper was strict on keeping El safe but Juliette had never been known to the lab so she couldn't just hide away now. It would be to suspicious. But they really didn't know how much the lab knew, if they are still alive.
But anything was possible. They've seen stranger things.
It didn't take long until the burgundy BMW pulled up outside the home on Cherry Road. Juliette waved a goodbye to the Harrington boy and skipped up the door.
"Hi, Mrs Hargrove." Juliette smiled, the door opening to the red headed woman. She used to always call her Mrs Mayfield, forgetting that she was in-fact married.
Susan smiled, gesturing for the Amour girl to come in. "Max's in her room. I made cookies if you want to bring some in for her."
Juliette smiled and accepted the plate handed to her before following the hallway to the familiar room.
When Juliette knocked, a familiar voice called out, one that sounded annoyed.
"I'm busy!"
Juliette chuckled, opening the door to see the red head sat on the floor. The moment Max looked up and noticed the brunette, all anger disappeared.
