Spotting the familiar burgundy BMW, Juliette made her way to wait by the back door. A few moments later the owner arrived, bag in hand.

"How was school?" Steve asked, unlocking the car.

Juliette beamed, "We have a new student in my class. Her name's Max." The girl spoke, plopping herself down in the back seat. "She's seems cool but the party is so obsessed in thinking she's MADMAX that I think they might creep her out."

"Well, you can still be friends with her. Or just ask her if she's MADMAX tomorrow." Steve suggested and Juliette shrugged, fasting her seatbelt.

The passenger door opened and Nancy Wheeler sat in the seat, books clutched to her chest. "Hi, Jules." Nancy turned to smile to the younger girl before shutting the door.

When Juliette befriended the party, she immediately connected with Nancy, Mike's older sister, who became like a sister to Juliette. Nancy would paint Juliette nails if the younger girl wanted, the Wheeler girl also let Juliette have some of her old clothes, did her hair in hair rollers. Nancy loved Juliette like a little sister, too.

"Hi." Juliette smiled back to the older teen. Steve pulled out the school and the younger girls attention went to a piece of paper that was left crumbled on the seat beside her.

"Julie. . . Juliette?." Steve called. The Amour girl finally looked up to meet Steve's eye in the rear-view mirror. "Am I dropping you at your house or?"

Lu replied, "My house, thank you." Her focus went back to the paper and she opened her mouth to speak. "This doesn't make sense. You need to rewrite this." She spoke and Steve furrowed his eyebrows, glancing back to see what she was talking about.

"Hey!" He called out, noticing it was his college essay.

Juliette moved the paper away so he couldn't try and snatch it back while she continued to read. "It doesn't make sense. You talk about your grandads sucsess in the war and then your game. I know that you both win, but both were your teams accomplishments too."

Nancy chuckled, glancing to Steve who rolled his eyes at the girl in the back who was saying the same things that Nancy had said that morning. Steve huffed, leaving it alone.

"I hate that your smart sometimes." Harrington sighed. With his old friends he didn't really have to think much. He just went along with their teasing ways. But spending most of his time babysitting Juliette or with his girlfriend as of the last year, he was always outsmarted.
