𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐃 at the Byers home. Will was on the couch, being watched over by Jonathan and Nancy. Joyce was in her room, grieving over the sudden loss of Bob Newby. The others were either sat or standing around the kitchen, trying to digest the situation.
Juliette was kneeling on the floor beside the couch that Will was on, a bandana tied round her eyes as she focused on going into Will's head. Jonathan glanced at the girl beside him every now and again, his attention between her and Will, hoping that Juliette was able to get into the younger Byers head.
"Come on." Lu mumbled but all she could see was the dark void, no sign of the Byers boy anywhere.
Nancy sadly looked from a worried Jonathan to the girl who was draining her energy on trying to get through to Will, not to mention that most of her energy was used earlier on at the junkyard and outside the lab.
"Juliette." Nancy sighed, uneasy gaze on the Amour girl.
Juliette, however, ignored her and tried once more to help. "Dr. Sam Owens. . ." Hopper's voice came from the distance as he talked into the phone.
The younger brunette girl pulled her bandana off, taking deep breaths as she tried to regain her breathing. Jonathan turned to her with a pleading look that faded when the amour girl shook her head, looking down to her lap, guilt eating at her.
Juliette's hand fell to the floor, holding her up as a wave of dizziness came over her, a dull ache in her head. Blood dropped from her nose.
Steve, who's gaze was previously on Juliette and Nancy, walked over to the Amour girl. "You need to rest, Julie." He helped the girl stand up, her legs felt like jelly at the sudden energy loss.
The duo passed Hopper who was yelling into the phone still, Steve scanned the coloured papers on the wall as they crossed to the kitchen.
"I am the police! Chief Jim Hopper!"
Juliette took a seat beside Max while Steve took the dish towel from the side, running it under the running water before passing the wet cloth over to the Amour girl.
Lu wiped it under her nose, trying to remove the scarlet that stained her pale skin. Max gazed over to the girl beside her, concern written on her features. The Mayfield girl then took matters into her own hands and snatched the cloth from Juliette's hand, turning in her chair to help.
Max used her free hand to carefully hold the brunette girls cheek, turning her face so she could wipe away the scarlet liquid.
"Thanks." Juliette muttered under her breath, eyes fixated on the red head who's concerned gaze was on helping Lu.
