jisung just stared at himself in the mirror for a good minute, thinking about his decisions as he looked at his hair that were quite long (they reached till his mouth) and blonde.

should he really listen to his parents and trim his hair? and dye it back to black too? he really didn't want to. he hated the idea of it. he loved his blonde hair.

but he knew he should, he should obey his parents, more like unknown people.

with a sigh, he opened the water tap, briefly washing his hands to show that he had used the bathroom instead of just staring at himself in the mirror. he stepped out of the bathroom, only to back off with a yelp upon noticing someone standing right in front of the door.

"fuck, you scared me!" jisung exclaimed, looking up to see his brother staring at him with a not so shaken up face by his reaction.

"why did you come here?" his brother asked, getting straight to the point without wasting a second.

jisung just looked around, feeling like he got caught like a deer in headlights. he glanced up at his brother with a rather apologetic expression.

"i just... i-i don't know." jisung said with a sigh, not really knowing how to explain anything that went on in his mind. he couldn't understand whether he had came to spite his brother or just because he thought his parents would have gotten some sense into themselves and somehow became better persons.

which was neither and now jisung was left confused in his own thought process.

"go back, now." his brother replied with a stoic expression. making jisung glare back at him with squinted eyes. maybe it was really to spite his brother. jisung loathed his brother for various reasons.

"why should I? it's not like I'd listen to everything you say! i haven't even had the promised dinner-"

"jisung," his brother stopped him, letting out a sigh before continuing, "you know how it is, after all I've done to get you out of this house, you should just go. you really don't belong here, don't come back here just because you feel jealous of other people who go to their parents houses. just go and never come back here, i beg you."

jisung's brother had the capacity to know everything.

jisung just looked up at his brother with a hint of hatred, feeling tears welling up in his eyes the more he stared at him. how did his brother manage to read him like an open book?

he pushed him away from the door, moving his feet quickly to rush down the stairs to get out of the house.

maybe his brother was right. he really shouldn't come here. maybe he was just such a waste of space that nobody actually liked him and only pretended to. maybe he should just stop bothering everyone and go away somewhere. maybe take the next flight to somewhere and run away? jisung always wondered how it might feel to rest-

"oh jisung. wait a second." his mother called out for him when she saw him almost running to get to the main door of the house. jisung's steps came to a stop as he looked over to see his mother coming up to him.

"I'm glad you're leaving, and i hope you don't step into this house until you've fixed those hair of yours. I'll call up my best hair care to take care of that, alright? don't you dare miss the appointment." she spoke with the sweetest smile when her words were like poison.

jisung felt chills upon his back, this environment just felt so unfamiliar for some reason. even though he had stayed here for his whole childhood. and his mother being like this hadn't helped in a bit.

"y-yes.. I'll make sure to go." jisung said, looking down and even backing away a bit when his mother reached a hand out to pat his hair. and then making him yelp when she suddenly grabbed his hair and pulled them to the point it hurt.
