minho couldn't help the little scoff that left past his lips as they were all sat at their usual lunch table, and minho might've seen changbin ditching them and going to sit at the table jisung sat with his swimmer friends.
"gosh, changbin really has to go to jisung.." he mumbled to himself and all the others seemed to already notice what minho was so aggressively glaring at.
except seungmin, who was just looking down at his plate of food and playing with it. obviously having no appetite.
and suddenly he got up from his seat, causing everyone to flinch from the sudden movement. watching as seungmin just picked his lunch tray, starting to walk away from their table and it made minho widen his eyes upon realising where seungmin was headed.
everyone almost simultaneously gasped when seungmin pulled a chair to sit in front of jisung at his table and even jisung seemed surprised as he stopped mid way from putting food into his mouth.
"look jisung-"
"no, I'm blind." jisung replied before seungmin could even continue, and it made changbin snort from the absolute innocent sounding tone of jisung. it was more funnier since jisung couldn't make a sarcastic tone that well.
seungmin just blankly blinked at him, causing jisung to break into a smile.
"hi, seungmin." he greeted him with a smile, not even being phased at the stares they were probably receiving right now.
"hi." seungmin replied back, sighing at how jisung didn't even care to be mean to him when he had said all those harsh words to him.
"jisung, I- I just want to apologise. I'm really sorry for what I said to you the other day. I agree that I was really mean and had no right to say that to you at all. I won't even try to make excuses since I do really feel bad and upon realising that I shouldn't have said those things and how much that might've hurt, I feel really guilty. you don't have to forgive me. I'm really sorry for saying what I said. and if you still do want to be friends, I promise I'm here." seungmin said, looking down at the table, being too scared to look up at jisung.
instead he was met with soft laughter, feeling a hand on his hair and patting it as he looked up at jisung who was smiling fondly at him. and the smile looked almost genuine.
"hey! of course I forgive you! you were my only friend all these years, I do admit what you said really hurt me but it's fine! you're my friend, forgiving is something I should grant."
"jisung, you don't need to be nice for this. I swear if you're putting on an act-"
"I'm being serious." jisung said, pouting at seungmin's words. and seungmin just nodded, smiling back at him.
"but.." jisung started, looking at seungmin with a mischievous smile.
"if you're really sorry, treat me food!" jisung said, almost jumping out of his seat. but seungmin let out a confused noise.
treat him food? seriously? out of all the things he could've asked for, he asked for food? it made seungmin stare at him with confusion.
"what? i thought you'd like... ask to hit me or something."
"HEY! I'm not that mean, treating me food is good enough." jisung said, proudly smiling as seungmin just nodded.
"okay, if that's what you want."
"damn, seungmin. thanks for coming to your senses." changbin said after waiting for the right opportunity to interrupt in their conversation, bumping his shoulder into seungmin's who just nodded his head.
