jisung would be lying if he said he didn't get any sleep last night due to worrying about minho if he was going to be alright, or if his condition would get better. or well, if the boy would ever start taking care of himself.

and then he had ended up spending time searching what food was good for a malnourished person to eat on his phone for at least an hour.

now, he was happily skipping his way to the hospital minho was in, the porridge and other foods in a packet held in his hand as he made his way towards minho's hospital room.

jisung quietly slid open the door since he assumed minho would be sleeping, and he was right. seeing the boy peacefully resting on the bed made him smile and it might have been the first time he saw minho so peaceful.

he softly closed the door back again, walking further inside the room and keeping the container of food on the small table in the room and then taking a seat on a chair beside the bed where minho was asleep.

jisung felt a sense of peace within him when he looked at minho resting.

it was somewhat assuring that at least for now, minho was having some rest. it had calmed his mind from when he spent the entire night worrying about minho's well-being. and now seeing him with his eyes closed shut, his adorably pouty lips and soft breathing had jisung so relaxed that he himself could just fall asleep right then and there.

jisung did feel his eyelids getting heavy since he did in fact get only about two hours of sleep but he had to stay awake in order for minho since he could get up anytime soon. he had to make sure he ate the food he brought.

to kill some time until minho woke up, he took out his phone from the pocket of his jeans and started going through different apps and messages that he hadn't checked in days.

seohun hyung

seohun hyung:
how are you doing?

jisung's eyes widened upon seeing the message, being shocked that his brother was the one who texted him first. it was out of the box, why would he ask how he was doing? it didn't really matter as much as jisung thought about it.

but he did text back, putting a simple answer and deciding this could be his chance to ask him some questions.

just after he had sent his response of "I'm doing fine" and was about to type out another text, his phone had came up with the calling screen and it had sent jisung into a frozen state when he saw that his brother was calling him.

after wasting a good five seconds, jisung finally decided to answer the buzzing phone and put it up to his ear hesitantly.

"hi, hyung..." jisung mumbled out, the awkwardness of talking to his brother after getting their closure hitting him hard as he nibbled on his bottom lip, almost afraid of what his brother might say. what if his brother took back everything he said that night and actually hated him? what if all of what he said were simply lies?

"hey, jisung. are you sure you're doing fine?" seohun's voice spoke through his speaker and jisung felt an immense amount of relief flow through his body upon realizing that none of what he thought would happen.

"yeah, I'm fine. I'm pretty good actually. but what about you?" jisung made sure to ask, knowing his brother would most definitely not be okay or anything near it.
