Take it slow

Karlee POV

Taylor and I spent all day together shopping and at Starbucks. He helped me forget about the drama from this morning. He asked about my past and where I saw myself in the future. I told him I wasn't really sure yet.

"Where do you see yourself in the future I asked taking a drink of my carmel frappachino.

"I hope doing the same thing I'm doing now. I love making my fans laugh and making their day better. I love going on the tours and doing meet and greets with them. I just love hearing them say the 30 seconds to a minute they get with me just really makes their day. When they tell me that watching my videos makes all their problems seem to disappear it warms my heart. I live for this stuff and I wanna keep doing it when I'm older. "

"That's amazing Taylor. I can tell you really care about your fans. Ill be honest I was one of those girls that fangirled when you upload a vine or youtube video." I looked down laughing."My friends would end me pictures of you making a deep face or one of your vines when I was having a bad day because they knew it would make me smile.

Taylor pretended to look shocked."whaaaaat?? Karlee Sanchez fangirled over me?! I'm so honored. " I laughed a threw my straw wrapper at him.

"Shut up Taylor!" He laughed blocking the wrapper. We cleaned our mess up and walked back to his car. He pulled up in front of the apartment building nd looked at me smiling.

"I had fun Karlee. I hope it helped you get your mind off stuff."

I nodded and smiled" Me too Taylor and yeah it did thanks. "

We hugged and I got out the car grabbing my bags. I waved as he drove off and I headed inside towards the elevator. When I got to the apartment door, I opened it quietly hoping no one would hear me especially Nirvana. She texted me earlier about what happened and i told her I'd explain later. I wasn't in the mood to do any explaining. I shut the door and turned around to a Nirvana standing there looking at me. I sighed and dropped my shoulders walking to the couch not even putting up a fight. I sat down and looked at her.

"What happened?"

I explained to her the fight this morning. She sat next to me and looked at me.

"You guys need to talk this out. but without arguing."

I nodded and hugged her. When we pulled away Nate walked into the room with his hands in his pockets looking at us. Nirvana stood up and backed away towards the steps.

"Ill just let you guys talk. NO ARGUING !" She yelled running up the steps.

Nate walked over and sat in the chair looking at his hands.

"I'm sorry about this morning Karlee. I shouldn't have been smothering you and I didn't mean to make you feel like a kid or something. I was just trying to make sure you were safe babygirl."

I looked up at him wiping a few stray tears from my cheek. "I'm sorry to Nate I shouldn't have acted the way I did. I know you were just trying to look out for me and being a great caring boyfriend. Its just that I can look out for myself. Your not always gonna be able to be with me 24/7. "

He stood up and walked over sitting next to me. I snaked my arms around his arm and hugged it. I laid my head on his shoulder.

"I know that Karlee but when I can i wanna make sure I'm doing everything possible to be there for you. No matter what." He kissed my head then laid his on mine.

"I know Nate and I really appreciate it. I love seeing you be all protective and caring. It's cute but I still need a little space sometimes. And as much as it hurts me to say but maybe we do need a break or to take it slow. We've only been together less than a month and I practically live here now. Things are just moving to fast for me. I care about you so much and I am getting feelings for you but I'm afraid of getting hurt like I have been in the past. "

He nodded and looked down at me. " I understand babe, if it makes you happy then I'm all go for it. I love you more than anything and I'll do whatever to make you happy. I'd never hurt you like your exes did.You'll always be mine whether we're together or not. I love you Karlee Marie Sanchez. "

I smiled and looked up at him. "Love you too Nathan Montgomery Maloley. " I giggled as he grabbed my chin and kissed me softly. I cupped his face in my hands kissing back. Cheers came from the back door, we turned around to see the guys and Nirvana standing there cheering and whistling. We laughed and stood up. I walked over, Nate behind me with his hands on my side.

"Before you guys get too excited Karlee and I decided to take things slow. We aren't officially back together but we're gonna work on it. So that means don't try anything Nash" Nate said looking at him and laughed.

"As long as you guys are okay doesn't matter. Me try something? Whaaat. " Nash said smiling.

I shook my head laughing at them.
