Not just a fan..

I can't do the song

Karlee POV
The boys came back and were talking about who they could get to sing on one of their songs. I wasn't really paying attention until I heard my name.

"Karlee sings." Nirvana said nudging me. I started blushing nd hit her playfully. The only time I sang was around Nirvana or alone and it was just playful not really trying.

"It's not any good." I replied shrugging and looking down at my phone.

"Bullshit." Nirvana said.

I hid my face in my hands. "Shut up Nirvana !"

"Show them! Let them decide." She smirked.

I shook my head no laughing quietly. I was not about to embarrass myself in front of them.

"Show us baby." Nate smiles pulling me on his lap.

I let out a groan and smiled. I took a deep breath and opened my mouth as if I was about to sing and yelled out quick, "Nirvana sings better and more than me!" I covered my mouth and looked at her. She was glaring at me wit a look of hate on her face.

"Lies ! I can't sing. Your better than me." She yelled back pointing at me.

"Bullshit. Show them! let them decide." I said mocking her. I stuck my tongue out and crossed my arms.

"How about both of you show us?" Dillon says looking at both of us.

Nirvana and I looked back and forth at each and shrugged.

"Guess it wouldn't hurt. " Nirvana said. I nodded and we whispered figuring out a song to sing. When we finally agreed on one we both took deep breaths and started singing the first verse of Air by Shawn Mendes. When we were done the guys all stood up clapping. Our faces turned red from blushing so much. I hid my face behind Nirvana. She held onto me as we both giggled.

"That was fuckin great ! Why didn't you tell us you guys could sing sooner?" Sammy asked.

Nirvana shrugged looking at them. "Neither of us like singing in front of people especially Kar, she gets stage fright easily."

I hit her softly causing her to laugh a little.

"Well looks like we found the chorus. You girls are going to the studio with us tomorrow. " Nate said pulling me over to him.

"Ohhh nooooo im not. Nirvana can do it but not me. I don't sing guys. I'm sorry." I said shaking my head.

"Oh come on Karlee. You sounded amazing, you and Nirvana together would make the chorus perfect!" Dillon practically yelled at me.

"I'm sorry guys I can't. " I got up and walked upstairs to mine and Nate's room and laid on the bed. I heard the door open and I rolled over on my side putting my back to Nate. I felt the bed move down as he sat next to me.

"We weren't trying to pressure you babygirl we just really wanted you on the song."

"Yeah well I don't wanna be on it. Nirvana can do it on her own. It'll still be good. "

"Just think about it babe. " He kissed my head and walked out closing the door behind him.

I laid there for awhile thinking about what I was gonna do. I fell asleep without even realizing it. I started dreaming about what would happen if I did agree to do the song. I was already getting enough hate I didn't need more.
