Karlees pov

When we got to the party, I looked around. There were a lot of people there. Some I recognized and some I didn't. Jack G saw his gf Madison and told us he'd be back. He walked over to her. They were a really cute couple and Madison was prettier in person. He brought her over and introduced me to her.

"Madison this is Karlee, Karlee this is my gf Madison."

She smiled and shook my hand. "Its nice too meet you Karlee."

"It's great to meet you too Madison. I love your music." I said shaking her hand.

"Well thank you" She blushed and gave me a quick hug before walking off with Jack. Jack J had already disappeared into the crowd. I looked around to see Matt standing on a table dancing. I laughed and shook my head at him. I stood near the walk awkwardly looking around hoping to see Taylor or anyone else I knew. I was still searching the crowd when a face appeared in front of me. I jumped then realized it was Mikey, Taylor's best friend. He stood in front of me smiling big.

"You must be Karlee. Taylor said you were coming. Where's your boyfriend?"

"I don't have a boyfriend. We're uhh taking a break right now."

He frowned a little before smiling again. "Well that sucks, wanna dance?"

"Sure. " I shrugged.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the crowd. I laughed a little following him. We danced for a little before I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Taylor standing there smiling. I smiled and hugged him.

"heyy Taylor."

He smiled and hugged me back picking me up a little. "Hey Kar. You doin better?"

I nodded, "Yeah Nate and I talked. We agreed to take a little break I guess you could call it. "

"Well thats good. Mind if I steal her from ya Mikey?" We looked at Mikey but he was already dancing with some other girls. I laughed shaking my head again and pushed through the crowd with Taylor. He held my hand tight making sure not to lose me in the sea of people. He led the way upstairs. He showed me around all the rooms before walking downstairs and out to the back yard. The back yard was soo pretty and had an amazing view. We stood against the wall looking over it. It was so beautiful looking at night. I shivered a little as a breeze blew through. I smiled feeling taylor put his jacket on my shoulders.

"Thanks." I looked at him smiling.

"No problem." He smiled back.

"Soo when's the last time you had a real girlfriend?"

He shrugged looking at the city."Its been awhile. Just can't find the right girl and now it's like all they want is my money and internet fame. They don't want to get to know the real me just famous me. "

I felt bad when he said that. "Well they're crazy cause your an amazing person who deserves to be happy. You'll find someone Taylor who likes you for you. "

He turned towards me and smiled. "Thanks Karlee. Nate was crazy to agree to this taking a break thing. Your too beautiful and perfect for him to just let you go. "

"Thank you but I'm far from perfect." I blushed looking down.

He lifted my chin looking in my eyes, "You are perfect Karlee."

I looked back in his and bit my lip. I felt this sudden urge to kiss him but I didn't want to hurt Nate. Even though we technically weren't together it still felt wrong.. Taylor leaned in towards me, I leaned in slightly. We were inches away from each others face. I bit my lip again as he cupped my cheek in his hand. Right as we were about to kiss I looked down and stepped back.

"I'm sorry Taylor I can't do this!" I ran back inside through the crowd looking for one of the guys. I could hear Taylor yelling my name behind me but I didn't want to stop and deal with the confrontation. I found Matt dancing with some girls. I pulled him to the side and wiped a few tears that began to fall.

"Matt can you take me home please?"

"Whats wrong Karlee??" He looked at me sympathetically.

I shook my head."I don't wanna talk about it. just please take me back to the apartment. "

He nodded and went to find the Jacks to make sure they'd have a ride home. He came back a few minutes later and walked me to the car. I got in and curled up in the ball looking out the window. Matt looked at me occasionally as we drove home making sure I was okay. When we got back I ran to the elevator dragging Matt behind me. I waited impatiently for it to get to our floor before running to the apartment and unlocking the door. I looked around downstairs for Nate but couldn't find him. I ran up to his room to see him laying on his bed. I paused at the door, Nate looked at me. I ran over and jumped on him kissing him passionately. He wasn't sure ow to react at first before wrapping his arms around me kissing back. We pulled away after awhile looking at each other.

"What was that for Kar?" He asked a little confused.

"Nothing, Just know that I love you so much. " I smiled a little running my fingers through his hair.

"I love you too babygirl." He smiled back and kissed me again rolling us over.

I wasn't gonna tell him about the almost kiss with Taylor. I just wanted to enjoy the moment. Nate laid between my legs and held my side kissing me slow and deep. His hands crept up my shirt a little while his lips made their way to my neck. I let out a soft moan and closed my eyes. I missed the touch of his hands and lips.
